Golden Globe and Emmy Award Nominee Morgan Fairchild portrays Sophia Blakely on "Fashion House." Fairchild is hardly new to playing classy yet viciously manipulative roles. Her character Sophia Blakely is no exception. Revenge is her goal!

She is known for numerous films, television shows as well as commercials.

Her daytime drama experiences include "Search for Tomorrow" and "The City." In addition, she had credits on the primetime dramas "Falcon Crest," "Hotel," "Flamingo Road," "Dallas" and the short lived "Paper Dolls." She has appeared in numerous other television shows such as "Kojak," "Murphy Brown," "Murder, She Wrote," "Touched by an Angel" and "Just Shoot Me." Perhaps two of her most memorable appearances was when she was cast as Sandra Bernhard’s bisexual girlfriend on the hit sitcom "Roseanne," and on the top rated NBC sitcom "Friends," when she portrayed Nora Tyler Bing, Chandler’s mother. She authored the book Super Looks, a complete guide to beauty, diet, make-up, hair and exercise tips. Many viewers will also recognize her for her appearances on commercials for the mega brand Old Navy.

Fairchild is an activists in the fight against AIDS. She starred in the AIDS education and prevention video Safe Sex for Men and Women. In addition, she is a member of the Entertainment Industry’s AIDS Task Force and has lead several other fundraising projects to combat the disease. She is active in environmental issues and sits on the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Women’s Political Committee.
