Born in Roanoke, Virginia, USA, Jen Lilley is the daughter of a judge and a director of marketing/event planner. Lilley has two brothers, and one sister. Lilley had wanted to become a singer since childhood, and in 2001 received the National Educators award in Guatemala by giving concerts for underprivileged Guatemalan youth. She graduated from Cave Spring High School in 2003 and the singer turned actress moved to Los Angeles in the late summer of 2007 to pursue acting. She since played characters on MTV's "Disaster Date," played Monie in the "iCarly" TV movie, "iParty with Victorious," she took over the role of Maxie Jones in "General Hospital" from September 2011 until August 2012 as a temporary replacement while actress Kirsten Storms took time off for medical leave. She then took on the original character of Jeannie "Theresa" Donovan July 3, 2013 on "Days of our Lives.".
