Devika Parikh’s New General Hospital Role
For those who were wondering about the new face on General Hospital in the Tuesday October 13 episode, that was actress Devika Parikh in the new role of Ms. Madigan. Parikh’s character was a huge cosmetics buyer who appeared in scenes with Lucy and Sasha, who ended up blowing the Deception presentation. The actress posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the set and stated, “Excited to be appearing as Ms. Madigan on @generalhospitalabc October 13 and October 14 (tomorrow & Wednesday)! Thank you Frank Valentini (Ex.prod).”
Though she is new to daytime, Parikh’s turned up in numerous primetime series such as The West Wing, Rizzoli & Isles and Grey’s Anatomy and has voiced various characters in such films as Madagascar and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and can be heard as the radio announcer in the The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners video game. Look for her to also appear in the Wednesday October 14 episode.
