To say that Bold & Beautiful fans didn’t take to Katrina Bowden’s Flo might be the understatement of… Well, not the year, as it’s brand-new but… let’s say a couple of years ago. How about that? And it’s understandable. Once you help pass off someone’s baby as a tot that’s up for adoption, you’re generally kind of dead to a portion of the audience. (As opposed to, say, Sheila, who has shot half the cast, shackled a psychiatrist, murdered a dude with bees — yes, bees! — and somehow remains integral to the goings-on. Um, wait… what?)

But the soap’s executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell hasn’t discarded the notion of bringing back Flo, who as far as we know is still engaged to Wyatt (in what may qualify as the longest engagement in the show’s history; what, was the Forrester living room booked up through 2024?). He still thinks of her as well as Denise Richards, who plays Flo’s mom Shauna, as a part of the mix.

“But, ya know, not like, right away.”

“In my mind, Shauna and Flo are ‘out there,’” he tells Soap Opera Digest. “I think the world of both actresses, and I’d love to plug them in.

“At any moment,” he adds, “if they’re available, I‘d be honored to have both of those characters and actresses back.”
