Charlie Mason is the Deputy Editor of Soaps.com — and is still waiting for the badge that goes with the title, thank you very much. He previously wrote a weekly soaps column for The New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper (R.I.P.), moved East to break news at Soap Opera Update, then helped found Soaps in Depth (and keep it hopping, skipping and jumping) for more than 25 years. As an editor at TVLine, he has interviewed everyone from Yellowstone firebrand Kelly Reilly to Walking Dead survivor Danai Gurira, from Lost leading man Josh Holloway to Greenleaf icon Lynn Whitfield. In his free time, Charlie has released one and (fingers crossed) only one novel, the zombie love story What Became of Her, won the Eurovision Song Contest and co-written songs that have been released by, among others, Miley Cyrus, Zendaya, China Anne McClain and Young Royals star Omar Rudberg. He hates technology that wastes his time and would prefer that you not follow him anywhere, ever, as he already has a shadow. He's also probably already talked smack about you, just to save time.
