Nicholas Galbraith (Zac Finn) was on stage last night for the New York debut of F.J. Hartland’s “Mother Tongue”. The play follows a young painter who finds his life turned upside down by his new and mysterious and a mother bent on becoming a stand-up comedian. Appearing on stage with Galbraith were Laura Kenyon and former DOOL star Kevin Spirtas.

The play’s performance is part of the third annual Gayfest NYC, the largest festival of gay themed plays in the United States. It runs from June 3-6 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 West 36th Street, New York City. The festival develops new LGBT works for stages and provides in-school elective programs and scholarships for students of the Harvey Milk High School.

Nicholas Galbraith debuted on As The World Turns on Thursday, April 2 as Zac, the male half of the Finn twins, who got involved with the Luke Snyder Foundation.
