The wedding of Alison and Aaron may have only lasted about 10 seconds, but the fashions from the wedding will live on – for at least a few more months! went straight to the source – the As The World Turns wardrobe department to find out all we could about the dresses that Alison, Emily and Susan wore to the wedding.

Here is what we found out!

Marnie Schulenburg (Alison Stewart) wore a wedding gown designed by Alista Graham. The off-the-shoulder gown was beaded over the bodice and had a full, floor-length skirt. The dress was purchased at Kleinfeld’s and is the perfect gown for a spring or summer wedding!

To compliment Marnie’s features, her hair was pulled into a bun at the crown of her head with a few bangs left to swoop across her forehead. Her veil was attached to a crown of roses and flowed to her waist. This hairstyle is great for all types of face shapes, the key is your comfort level. If you are unused to having your hair up or would prefer only a partial up-do, this isn’t the look for you. To find out more about your perfect wedding hairstyle, click here!

Mother-of-the-bride Susan (played by Marie Masters) wore a pink dress with a sleeved jacket. The dress was designed by Carmen Marc Valbo and can be purchased at Lord & Taylor.

Finally, sister-of-the-bride Emily (played by Kelley Menhigan-Hensley) wore a gown designed by BCBG, which was also purchased at Lord & Taylor.

As soap opera weddings go, this one was fairly tame. Set outside Lily’s home, most of the men wore simple suits; even Susan and Emily’s dresses were casual. Alison, of course, dressed the part of a beautiful bride. If you’re planning a spring or summer wedding, take a few tips from these great dresses!
