Mark your calendars, fans! Or, should I say unmark your calendars? Cady McClain, ex-Rosanna, has had to cancel two summer dates for her latest tour.

On her blog, Cady notes that one of her band members has had to leave for personal reasons. Because of the short time frame she wasn‘t able to find a replacement and she has cancelled two tour dates.

Cady was scheduled to perform at Prohibition in New York City on July 25, 2008 and to perform at the Alphabet lounge on August 2, 2008. Both of these dates have been canceled. We aren’t sure if the dates will be rescheduled later in the fall.

Don’t fret, though, because Cady has a few more dates that – as of right now – are still on!

Cady will perform August 15, 2008 at Rockwood City Music Hall. The show is set to begin at 6 PM. Click here for more information about this show.

While you are marking those calendars, pull out your 2009 dates because Cady has been asked to take part in the University of Connecticut’s National Poetry month in April 2009. She will do a live reading and performance on April 3, 2009. Congratulations from, Cady!

On a soap opera note, rumors have been rampant all over the Internet that Cady was headed to Guiding Light to play a recast Harley. Beth Ehlers left the role earlier this summer and will land at All My Children later this summer. Cady says the rumors are – at least right now! – untrue.

Where will Cady land and will it be in soap opera land? We will have to wait and see. In the mean time, we’ll have to make do with Cady’s poetry and music!
