ATWT’s Jennifer Ferrin extends her run in 39 Steps!!
The play, originally an Alfred Hitchcock film, follows an innocent man who becomes engaged in foul play and goes on the run. Several comic turn of events keep the thriller from becoming mundane.
The play version of 39 Steps was created several years ago. It was originally a two-man comedy routine before being purchased by producer Patrick Barlow and adapted into play form. Since then it has been well received by theatre fans in the United States and in England.
The Cort Theatre is part of the Shubert Organization. It is located at 138 West 48th Street. If you live in the New York area, you should check it out. Click here for ticket information.
Performances at Cort Theatre begin April 29, 2008 and the show will officially reopen on May 8, 2008.
Congratulations, Jennifer, on the extended run of the play! We wish you the best of luck!!

Congratulations go out to Jennifer Ferrin, ex-Jennifer Munson, today. Though her run in the Broadway hit “39 Steps” has ended it’s run at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s American Airlines Theatre, Soaps.com has learned the show will go on – in new digs! The show left the American Airlines Theatre to make room for a revival of “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” (aka Danger Liasons). It will begin production next at Cort Theatre.
This is great news for Jennifer and the play, which has received great reviews since first opening in January, 2008. Jennifer plays Pamela/Margaret. Charles Edwards is the star of the show; other actors include Arnie Burton and Cliff Saunders.
