ATWT Actors Cast in Movies!
Marnie Schulenberg, Alison, has been quite busy in the past year. In addition to taking on the role of Alison and appearing in a play, she played a small part in the upcoming romantic comedy "Made For Each Other"! Congratulations, Marnie!!
Travis Wood, ex-Eli, has been busy since disappearing from Oakdale Memorial soon after helping Rosanna fake Meg's paternity test results. Eli may be enjoying Rosanna's money somewhere in Europe, but Travis has been busy filming the comedy "Zombie Strippers" with Robert Englund (of Freddie Kruger fame) and Jenna Jameson.
If you went to the movie theater to see the Valentine's comedy "Definitely, Maybe" you probably noticed a familiar face in the school scenes. Ashley Marie Greiner, Faith, played one of the school friends of the young girl in the film!
Sam Stone, Daniel Hughes, hasn't been seen on-screen in Oakdale since the holidays when he came home to visit mom-Emily and the rest of the Hughes crew. Daniel's absence has been explained because he is attending boarding school, sometimes used as a cover for rapidly aging a child. Sam Stone has been keeping busy. He is scheduled to appear in the film "Beyond the Ring" later this year.
Congratulations to all of the ATWT
stars crossing over to movies! We are so happy for you and we look forward to seeing more of your acting abilities on the big screen!
Over the next few months, As The World Turns fans will have the chance to see some of their favorite actors in different roles – on the big screen! Marnie Schulenburg, Alison, Daniel Manche, JJ, and Matthew J. Morrison, ex-Adam, are just a few of the daytime stars to hit the movie screen in the coming year. Let’s catch up with them!
First, Daniel Manche. Playing JJ may be a fun role but Daniel has signed on to play Young Arthur in a horror flick later this year. “I Sell The Dead” finished production in 2007 and is the story of a grave-robber who regrets his life of crime. Daniel will play the young version of the main character. Sounds like fun!
