At home, Angie encourages Jesse to open his own detective shop, especially with Tad undercover. Later, Colby joins Cassandra for a movie night with junk food. Cassandra wants to go back to bed but Colby won’t let her.

At the mansion, JR apologizes to Brooke and offers to smooth things over with the investors. Dimitri tells him it’s too late – they’ve all invested in CorTech. Colby overhears from the next room and accuses JR of sucking up. It’s all part of his plan. Upstairs, Miranda joins AJ in his room with a surprise. Heather interrupts and AJ leaves with her. Miranda rips up some tickets.

At the hospital JR asks Joe about Cara’s stolen prescription pads. Joe tells him whoever did this gave no thought at all to Cara’s career.

David taunts Jesse in the square. He offers to put in a good word for him to be a security guard at CorTech - unless he’s cool with wifey taking care of him. One day Angie will realize she can do better.

JR runs into Cara back at the mansion. He apologizes again about the prescriptions and tells her he’s clean. She’s happy for him but it scares her that she can’t trust him. He wants another chance and her help to stay clean. She just wants to take Oliver and leave. Meanwhile, Dimitri grabs Brooke and kisses her.

David stops by Jesse and Angie’s with flowers for Cassandra. Colby asks if he ruined JR’s reel. He won’t say. She’s sorry his daughters are dead but maybe JR has paid enough. David disagrees and hopes Colby won’t fight for JR. He reminds her who lent her $30,000 when she needed it.

Miranda looks for a job at Jane’s Addiction. She thinks about AJ and tells Jane the summer hasn’t turned out like she planned.

AJ and Heather get back to his room and start making out. She lets him know this isn’t her first time and pushes him to move forward. JR interrupts and Heather waits downstairs so they can talk. AJ tells JR it’s too late. All JR knows is to lie, cheat, steal and kill, and AJ wants nothing to do with it.

At Chandler Media, Brooke wants things to go back to how they were. They are amazing professional partners, but they have to leave the rest at the door. Dimitri thinks it was a hell of a kiss but agrees.

Angie calls Jesse from the hospital about a meeting with the doctor. He lies that he is meeting with a realtor. She’s proud of him for moving forward. Tad calls Jesse, whose sources tell him Uri is about to resurface. Tad’s on the next flight home.
