Lindsay Hartley and Vincent Irizarry present at Emmys.
This weekend, Lindsay Hartley (Cara) and Vincent Irizarry (David) presented at the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Irizarry presented Kristen Alderson with her award for Outstanding Young Actress In A Drama Series portraying Starr Manning on “General Hospital.” Hartley presented the Outstanding Young Actor In A Drama Series to Chandler Massey (Will Horton, “Days of our Lives”). Robert Scott Wilson (Pete Cortlandt) and Denyse Tontz (Miranda Montgomery) presented at last weekend’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards as well. Cady McClain (Dixie) was having fun at the Emmys and shared pictures of her personal highlights on Twitter, including this one of her and George Lucas.

CNN’s Jake Tapper to visit Pine Valley.
Jake Tapper is scheduled to appear on “AMC” as investigative reporter Spencer Phillips. Look for his appearance in mid-August. To prepare for the role which includes a scene with Julia Rose Barr (Brooke), Tapper got advice from Thorsten Kay (Zach).

Paula Garces and Eden Riegel pregnant.
Paula Garces (Lea) recently announced that she and her husband Antonia Hernandez are expecting. This will be the couple’s first child. Eden Riegel (Bianca) also tweeted her good news on Father’s Day that she and her husband are expecting too.

Susan Lucci in Devious Maids premiere.
Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) was seen recently at the Cable Show convention promoting her new show “Devious Maids.” Two of the maids characterized in the show work in her character’s household. The show premieres on Lifetime this Sunday at 10:00 PM.
