The Showtime pilot Ambyr Childers (ex-Colby, “All My Children”) is attached to has been picked up. Per Deadline, “Ray Donovan” received a 12-episode order.

“Ray Donovan” is about a fixer for Los Angeles’ elite. Childers played a Hollywood starlet under Donovan’s protection in the pilot.

The series also stars Liev Schreiber (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, as well as Elliot Gould (“Ocean’s Eleven”) and Kerris Dorsey (“Brothers & Sisters”). Filming will begin in Los Angeles in anticipation of a 2013 premiere.
