He’s back.

Former “All My Children” actress (ex-Belle Bodelle, “AMC,” “Harry’s Law”) is set to appear as the late Charlie Harper, originally played by Charlie Sheen, on “Two and a Half Men.” Per TV Guide, she will appear as Charlie’s ghost to his brother Alan (Jon Cryer), who suffers a heart attack.

The character of Charlie was killed off camera before the current season started. Bates’ episode will air on April 30 at 9:00 PM EST on CBS. Series executive producer Chuck Lorre has indicated he would like Bates’ incarnation of Charlie to be a recurring character.
