Bobbie Eakes is hitting the stage in the musical comedy “Hairspray” at the Palm Canyon Theatre in Palm Springs. She will star as Velma in the production about a plump 60’s teen, who wins a spot on a local TV dance program and is transformed from an outsider into a celebrity. She then strives to integrate the show.

“Hairspray” will run from January 27 – February 12. The Palm Canyon Theatre is located at 538 North Palm Canyon Drive. Call (760) 323-5123 for tickets.
