Sarah Michelle Gellar will be returning to "All My Children" before the September 23 network finale. There are no details beyond the fact that she will not be Kendall, the role she originated, but has since been taken over by Alicia Minshew. The actress explained she just wanted to be part of the show before it went off ABC. She suggested she could come on as a bar patron. Who do you think she should be?

TV Guide is hearing rumors that the original Kendall, Sarah Michelle Gellar, is returning to Pine Valley before September 23. There's no hint of how that would work considering the current Kendall, Alicia Minshew, has made the role her own for almost a decade, is in a red hot romance with Griffin (Jordi Vilasuso) and reached super coupledom with the soon to be returning Zach (Thorsten Kaye).
