Lori’s “All My Children” Weekly Wrap Up For May 2 – 6:
Last week’s “All My Children” featured a reveal, a clue and a tease of what could be. A few other things happened as well, so let’s get down to it.
Doctor and spy?
Where did Griffin get all the bugs and recording devices? He’s just a doctor right? Regardless, I’m not sure how Kendall can do what she’s doing with Ricky, even if it means catching her husband’s killer. There must be a better way. Actually I’m pretty sure there is, but I am liking how jealous and protective Ricky is being regarding Kendall. While I look forward to Zach’s probable return so he and Kendall can reunite, I have to wonder where that will leave Griffin. Since there is really no other lady on the canvas for him, my guess is that he will go back to Doctors Without Borders. What do you think he should do? Vote in our All My Children Poll: Griffin’s Future.
The truth is out.
I am so happy Ryan put the pieces together regarding Greenlee knowing he was the father of Madison’s baby all along. It was refreshing that he didn’t let Greenlee snow him with more of her lies and made her tell him the truth. There was no scorched earth though, which was also a nice change of pace. He didn’t kick her out or end their relationship, which I suppose he had every right to do. Instead, he is trying to process things and see where they go from here. I have to say though, I don’t feel bad for Greenlee one bit. She’s really not coming off as very sympathetic or likeable in all this.
David and Liza really are a smokin' couple. I so hope David gets over Greenlee so he and Liza can rule Pine Valley together. While I don't enjoy him pining over his ex-wife, I am enjoying him trying to cause trouble for Rylee by taunting Greenlee about Ryan every chance he gets. He'll also mix things up for Scott and Madison this week and while I enjoy the twinkle in his eye when he gets manipulative, I'm not looking forward to Madison finding out Scott only befriended her in the beginning so Greenlee would help him get out of prison. They have become a couple I am rooting for and this is sure to cause problems when the truth comes out.
Erica's kidnapping has turned out to be more interesting than I expected. It now appears her captor is a woman and per the spoilers the surprise of who she is is quite unexpected. It's intriguing, but as usual, I have my doubts, so I will wait to see how it unfolds before making any formal judgment. I do feel for Jack in all of this though. He's feeling every bit the jilted lover, as all signs point to Erica just dumping him cold. It seems he won't feel that way for long as he thankfully grows suspicious, so hopefully this storyline won't drag out too long.
Aside from the Kendall/Ricky storyline, it looks like there will be a few forward moving developments happening next week. Certain storylines certainly need them and I'm hoping it will mean big payoffs and exciting things to dissect next time. Until then, what did you think about last week's "All My Children?" Feel free to share your thoughts below.
