Sad to see it go.

After news broke regarding All My Children’s cancellation, current and former actors of the show took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Denise Vasi (Randi): Feelings about this are bitter sweet. “AMC” and its legacy ends but we were all blessed to be a part of true television history!!!

Stephanie Gatschet
(Madison): It’s a sad day in Pine Valley. We’re all still trying to absorb the news. Thank you all for your support! “AMC” has the best fans ever. Xo

Chrishelle Stause (Amanda): Your support is overwhelming and appreciated! I’ll keep you updated on other projects as they happen & still try to amuse you on Twitter.

Bobbie Eakes (Krystal): To all the wonderful “AMC” and “OLTL” fans: thank you so very much for your support over the years. We will always be grateful.

Christina Bennett Lind (Bianca): Everywhere I look, there are sad fans, great people reeling, and great artists wondering what happened to supporting artists & storytelling…sad.

Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake): All of us who labor in the arts know that it can be a lonely existence. We often find ourselves living a life of solitary dreams, disconnected from others, and driven by a vision that no one else seems to value or share. On some days, this can become overwhelming. We then thirst for a single voice of understanding that will reach into our solitary lives and reassure us that the path we have chosen is worthy, and that the rewards it offers are worth all it entails.” (Excerpt from “Letters to a Young Poet”)

Leven Rambin (ex-Lily/Ava): WOW. RIP “All My Children.” The end of an iconic era and huge part of my life. What a travesty!

Susan Lucci (Erica): It saddens me that “All My Children” is canceled. I’ve loved playing Erica Kane and working with Agnes Nixon & the incredible people at “AMC.”

Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo): It’s the end of an era. So sad for all the fans, me included.

Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley): The cancellation of “AMC” and “OLTL.” Very sad day for me.
