Broadway, film, and TV actor and singer. He appeared in the short-lived Boy George Broadway musical Taboo. He has also appeared on Broadway in The Goat or Who is Sylvia? and a revival of Tartuffe in 2003. He was nominated for the 2004 Drama Desk Award Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for Taboo.

In late November 2006, he returned to the long-running daytime soap opera All My Children as a British rock star named Zarf. He said on an interview that Eden Riegel, Alicia Minshew, and Alexa Havins are showing him the ropes to soap acting.

Actor, Jeffrey Carlson, has played in 'Taboo', 'Tartuffe (Roundabout Theatre), "The Goat or Who is Sylvia", and "Candida", in addition to other productions, including of 'The Killing Floor' (post production 2006), 'Backseat', 'Hitch', and television's 'Law and Order: Special Victim's Unit'.
