Bo Derek currently portrays fashion ruler Maria Gianni in Fashion House. Her character is the ruthless enemy of Sophia Blakeley, played by Morgan Fairchild.
Bo Derek has a long list of acting credits in movies such as Orca, Tarzan, the Ape Man, Bolero, A change in Seasons and the popular Oscar-nominated film 10 with Julie Andrews and Dudley Moore. Most recently she has appeared in the films Hot Chocolate and Tommy Boy. Derek and her late husband, director Bo Derek co-produced the movies Bolero and Tarzan, the Ape Man. In addition, she served as actress and producer in Ghosts Can’t Do It in 1990.
Derek has numerous television appearances as well. These include shows such as Still Standing, 7th Heaven, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place and Family Law. She released her autobiographical book Riding Lessons: Everything that Matters in Life I Learned from Horses, in 2002. Derek currently resides in California's Santa Ynex Valley. She was chosen to be a judge at the 2006 Miss Universe Pageant. The talented actress/producer also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
