Malcolm lie is exposed, Liv has a plan, and Sara infiltrates the Baldwin home!
At the abandoned zoo, Jana is still suffering from a headache. Lauren screams for Ryder, who comes running with Daisy. Lauren warns if they don't get Jana some help, they'll be on trial for murder. Daisy says she's faking, and they leave. Jana tells Lauren to try to escape without her. Jana and Lauren discuss the little boy, Max, who was in the photo. She thinks Daisy might have killed him. Jana is struck with head pain again, and tells Lauren this means that Kevin is ready to give up! Lauren urges her to believe in Kevin's love, and says she feels Michael will see through Sara.
At the Baldwin residence, Michael, Amber, Daniel, and Kevin question Sara, who is posing as Lauren. She tells them she wasn't with Jana, and that Ryder and Daisy had nothing to do with her disappearance. She asks to be alone with Michael, then tells him she's been at a hotel, where she slept with a man she didn't know. She cries, says she's sorry, and wonders why she would do such a thing. Michael is alternately angry and sad. He says it's his fault for leaving her at the ball. Michael also tells her she bailed out Ryder and Daisy. She pretends to be stunned, and then listens while he tells her what they found out about Sara Smythe. Fen comes out and Sara greets him, but when she is short, he leaves the room. She muses that he's upset because she was gone. Michael tells her he didn't know - he was at Gloria's. Michael suggests a doctor's visit, but Sara refuses, then complains about the boutique. When she leaves the room, Fen comes in and asks why mommy was mad. Michael makes a call to his doctor to ask for a psych referral. He is given the name of Dr. Emily Abbott!
Around the corner from the cage at the park, Ryder tells Daisy that if she was thinking, she'd realize that Jana could be useful as leverage. He calls Abby and asks if she's busy right now. Daisy goes back to the cage and tells Lauren that whatever plan she has, it's not going to work. Lauren threatens her, but Daisy is unfazed, and reminds her that Mama Bear is in her home with Michael and Fen! Lauren reminds Daisy that she welcomed her into her family. Daisy scoffs that inviting her for Thanksgiving doesn't make up for murdering her mother! Jana tells Lauren that Daisy doesn't have a conscience, otherwise she'd feel bad about poor Max. Daisy says Max got off easy compared to what she has in mind for them!
Amber, Daniel, and Kevin discuss the Jana situation at the coffee shop. Daniel tries to persuade Kevin that maybe Jana has left him like she said. Amber is ticked off by this and asks Kevin to take her to the abandoned park where he was looking for Jana. They leave.
At Cane and Lily's house, Malcolm is forced to come clean about lying. He says he didn't want to answer a lot of questions about why he came to town, so he pretended he'd seen Olivia. He admits he didn't know that Lily was sick when he arrived. Malcolm plays it down, but Neil says he's disturbed. Malcolm tells Neil this is just what he was looking for - proof that he isn't a good person. Malcolm wonders why Neil has it in for him. They argue over Lily. She slams out of the room. Cane turns on Malcolm, and Olivia chimes in, saying he's always kept secrets, which is fine until it hurts the family. Liv goes to find Lily, and Cane tells the brothers to sort it out. Neil accuses Malcolm of using Lily's illness to make himself better, adding that he cannot be trusted. Malcolm says he is leaving right now, so as not to cause stress, but he'll be there for Lily! Outside the door, Malcolm phones someone and says their secret is getting harder to keep!
Lily turns up at Crimson Lights and sits down with Daniel, who is there alone. She laughs as Daniel tells her a cancer joke. He asks how she is, and Lily tells him her odds are terrible. He probes about her feelings. She admits she feels guilty about making the selfish decision to bring two babies into the world, and she doesn't even know if she'll be here when they're born. Daniel reassures her when she says the worst case scenario is that she dies and Cane gets deported. He manages to make her feel better. Amber and Kevin return, and Daniel hugs Lily goodbye just as Liv shows up. Amber tells Daniel to go ahead and say, "I told you so." Daniel tells Amber they are very lucky, and Kevin admits he feels hopeless. Liv sits Lily down on the patio, where she tells her that her babies may hold the key to her cure. She admits it's risky to remove fetal cells in utero, and Mac would have to agree to it, but it might work.
Abby is waiting for Ryder at the abandoned park, but hides when Amber and Kevin appear. She listens as Kevin and Amber discuss Jana. They hear her, and Abby says she's meeting friends to have a picnic. They are skeptical, and Abby admits she's meeting a guy. Amber and Kevin tell her they are there looking for Jana, adding that Daisy and Ryder are a team, who they believe are involved. They go, and Ryder appears. Abby asks, "Did you have something to do with Jana's disappearance?" He gets defensive, says he thought she understood him, and adds that he's homeless. Abby feels bad. He thanks her for the food and she leaves.
Ryder joins Daisy back at the cage, where Daisy tells them that Michael welcomed Mama Bear with open arms, and they were getting ready for bed when she called! Jana tells Lauren not to listen.
Sara emerges from the bedroom at the Baldwin home in lingerie. Michael tells her he made an appointment for her at the doctor, and that he is staying in the spare room tonight.
