Nick makes a discovery, Heather pushes Daniel to the limit, and Katherine deals with Jack!
Noah is at the tack house. He tells Nick that he wants to get his mother something nice for Christmas due to the tough year she's had. Nick asks how she's been, and Noah admits she's been acting a little weird - staying in her room and behaving as though she's hiding something. Nick replies that he may know why. He tells Noah about the plaque. They agree it was a wonderful thing for Phyllis to do, but Nick feels they probably should have included Sharon in the process. Noah encourages Nick to go see her, but Nick wants to give her space. He gives Noah some money and he leaves.
Adam runs into Heather at Crimson Lights. He's holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and Heather remarks on them. He reminds her he is seeing someone. They have a snarky exchange, and he asks her to leave him alone when they meet in public.
Sharon stands in her living room thinking about her exchange with Nick about the plaque. She types him an email saying she overreacted and would like him to stop by and talk about it. Her phone rings - it's Adam - he wants to stop by. Sharon tells him fine, if he makes it quick. When Adam arrives, Sharon takes the flowers from him, but says things have been moving too fast for her - they need to put the brakes on. Sharon leaves the room to find a vase, and Adam sees the email to Nick on her laptop. Sharon comes back in, and tells Adam she'll have him to dinner sometime. Adam kisses her, and tells her he wants her so much. Sharon kisses him back, and things turn passionate. On her computer screen, Nick has emailed that he's on his way over!
Nick arrives at Sharon's house and rings the doorbell - there's no answer, so he tries the door and goes inside. He looks through the house and winds up at her bedroom door. He pushes it open and sees Sharon and Adam cuddling after making love.
Victoria and JT sit in the coffee house discussing her having to go to the Grand Jury. She is worried that Heather will bring up her affair with Deacon. Nearby, Deacon bothers Amber who is sitting at the counter. Amber goes off in a huff, telling him to leave her alone. Jana tells Deacon they won't serve him.
Phyllis and Daniel wait in the corridor outside the courtroom. Kevin is there and they question whether Ryder will show up or not. Just then, Michael walks in and tells Daniel he's reconsidered his strategy - he wants him to plead the fifth! Amber arrives and asks why Michael wants him to do that. Michael explains that the more Daniel speaks on the record, the worse it will be. Phyllis advises Daniel to listen to Michael. Daniel protests that he wants the jury to know there was a third man in the alley, and Amber adds that it makes it look like he has something to hide. Michael warns that he received new information, and knows they have an arrest warrant ready. Ryder comes in and wishes Daniel good luck - they shake hands. Heather takes Ryder in, and Amber yells, "Tell the truth! Tell them Daniel didn't do this!"
Victoria arrives with JT at the courthouse. JT takes a phone call from his boss, telling him to 'do it now'. JT informs his wife he has to leave. Nearby Michael, Phyllis, Kevin, Amber, and Daniel wait for Ryder to finish his testimony. Michael assures Daniel that he's going to have to trust him and do what he has told him. Deacon arrives and tells Daniel he'll take care of his wife when he goes to jail. Phyllis throws water on him. Heather comes out and tells Deacon it's time to come in. She looks at Victoria and says it's her turn next.
Victoria comes out of the Grand Jury testimony looking a little disheveled. She assures Daniel she put in a good word for him, and wishes him luck. As she heads for the elevator, Deacon approaches and asks if she said anything about them - after all she was under oath. Vikki merely asks him to excuse her. Daniel is taken in to testify by Heather. He follows Michael's advice and frustrates Heather by refusing to answer all of her questions - until she asks why his were the only set of fingerprints on the gun. He blurts that there was a third man in the alley who was wearing gloves. Daniel keeps talking after that, as Michael, Amber, and Phyllis wait anxiously on the other side of the door. Daniel comes out and reports to Michael that he refused to answer as long as he could, but Heather goaded him into defending himself. Michael tells him to go get some rest - Daniel and Amber leave. Michael tells Phyllis they're going to handle this. Phyllis dashes off, and Heather comes out. She and Michael face-off. He tells her that he plans on informing her boss exactly how she's railroaded a member of Victor Newman's extended family. Heather asks if he wants transcripts in exchange for backing off - that's blackmail. Michael says she's not wearing a wire, and dials her boss. Heather makes him hang up - she'll tell him what he wants to know!
Back at Crimson Lights, Jana and Kevin try to find out what happened with Ryder at the Grand Jury. He says he had a rough morning and he doesn't feel well - he's going home to lie down. Jana worries about Daniel. Amber and Daniel come in and Jana and Kevin tell them they were unable to get any information from Ryder. The police come in and arrest Daniel for the murder of Ray Elkins. Amber whimpers.
Jack and Katherine are sitting together at the Club. She gives him an opportunity to convince her as to why she should allow him to buy into Chancellor's IPO. Jack says he'll let somebody else speak for him and hands her a letter she wrote to his father, John, praising him, many years ago. Jack says if she can't find it in her heart to do it for him - she should do it for his dad. Kay sighs, and says he doesn't play fair. Katherine tells Jack he's in. Jack beams! Jack recalls how his ego once led to Jabot being taken away from the Abbott family, and how it broke John's heart. Kay says his family was his heart. Jack is just pleased to get a piece of Jabot back. He wishes her a wonderful day.
Jack goes to the tack house looking for Nick. Phyllis tells him Nick's not there so it's bad timing - it seems to always be bad timing! Jack asks her what's wrong, then comes inside. Jack tells Phyllis that Nick won't like his news - Sharon and Adam are involved! Phyllis is surprised, but wonders what Jack expected - that Nick would go running over there? Michael bursts in and tells them that he just found out that Ryder and Deacon both pleaded the fifth in their testimonies. Phyllis asks what this means. Michael says it isn't good!
JT pays Katherine a visit at home. He tells her that he's working for Tucker McCall now, and that he would like to be included in her IPO in a significant way. JT asks if she's interested? Katherine tells him, "Keep talking."

Neil says to Katherine, "Tucker McCall? What did he say?" Kay replies, "He wants in."
Ashley asks about Jack's conversation with Katherine. He tells her, "Something's going on."
Sharon asks Nick why he just walked into her house?! Nick replies, "You sent me an email!" Sharon says she never sent it!
