Phyllis learns about Daniel's predicament, Nick tells Sharon about the plaque, and Paul gives Emily a warning!

Adam and Sharon wake up together in her bed. He brings up the fact that he told her he loved her, but she doesn't want to discuss it. Suddenly, Noah hollers up to Sharon. She tells Adam to stay put - she doesn't want her son to know about this! Sharon goes downstairs, where Noah is puzzled that she isn't upset that he came in after curfew last night. Sharon shrugs and says, "It was a holiday!" Noah gives her a funny look then leaves. Adam appears on the stairs asking if the coast is clear. He wants to clear the air about his 'late night confession', but Sharon insists there is a mess to clean up in the kitchen and disappears. He follows her and she asks what he wants for breakfast. Adam won't be deterred - he tells her it was just a heat of the moment blurt - he loves being with her. Sharon smiles, saying she feels better. They return to joking around, but Sharon does say she's not really ready for anything heavy or committed - she enjoys their easy way together. Adam agrees it feels great.

Jack walks into the cabin, hollering Ashley's name and nearly waking the baby. He starts in on her for being alone up there with the baby - it's not a good idea. She tells him she's going to stay - it's not his decision! Jack says it's simply not safe, and there's no cell phone service. Ash tells him he's always trying to save people - look at how he was with Sharon! She asks him to back off. Ashley puts the baby down, and Jack then tells her about walking in on Sharon kissing Adam. Ashley insists that Adam isn't 'bad' even though Jack thinks so. She says they both deserve happiness, and Sharon needs comfort and companionship - he'll just have to accept it! They wander outside and discuss the plaque that Phyllis put up. They agree they're sad for Nick and for Sharon. Ashley mentions that she's glad he's moving on with Emily. Jack says he has to get back to town. Ashley thanks him for being concerned about her. Once alone, Ashley continues to stare at the plaque until she gets cold and goes inside.

Amber tells Daniel, at Crimson Lights, that she's feeling afraid about him going before the Grand Jury. Daniel tries to reassure her, saying he's got the best lawyer in the world. Michael appears and they tell Amber they're headed over to tell Phyllis what's going on.

In the dining room at the Club, Victoria is disappointed to learn that JT won't be able to make it to Reed's birthday party because of work. JT tells Reed to save him some cake as his nanny takes him to school. As JT gets up to leave, Victoria is served to testify in front of the Grand Jury. JT tells her it will be fine. Vikki mentions that she's thinking of returning to Newman. JT sighs and says Reed will have to spend more time with the nanny. They bicker, and he leaves for work.

Emily meets with Paul in the coffee house, where she tells him Patty hasn't made much progress lately. Paul says he's more concerned that she doesn't lose the gains she has already made, then asks how long Emily has been dating Jack Abbott - it's unethical! Paul says he knows from experience that it will end badly. Emily wants him to respect her boundaries, then bluntly says that it's not likely Patty will be back out in the world. She apologizes. Paul says that Emily and Jack are a bad idea, and that's not speculation - it's fact!

Phyllis and Nick sit in the living room of the tack house discussing the plaque that she and Summer put up on the tree. Nick expresses how pleased he is with it, and Phyllis assures him that Jack said it was fine. She tells him it took a lot of courage for him to hold Ashley's baby when he was mourning his own. Nick prepares to leave for work, and Phyllis mentions Reed's birthday. He opens the door and Michael and Daniel come inside. Nick leaves, and Phyllis tells the pair that it makes her nervous when they show up unannounced. They tell her about the Grand Jury and how Ryder has been subpoenaed too. They say they need to find evidence that points to the real killer. Phyllis wants to go in with Daniel when he testifies. Michael says she can't - even he has to wait in the next room. Daniel kisses Phyllis and heads out to the car. Michael assures Phyllis he'll do everything humanly possible to help him. She says she needs him to be superhuman. Michael goes, and Phyllis grabs her coat and purse.

Nick meets with Victoria in the Club, and she tells him about the subpoena. He wonders if that's all that is bothering her, then brings up JT's new job. She admits she's a little bit jealous of JT, but is dreading getting up in front of jurors to relive her personal failings. Nick reassures her about her court appearance and JT's job, saying it's his turn. He urges her to find something else to do that makes her happy - like the art foundation - it's too high profile with the SEC stuff right now at Newman. He tells her about the Chancellor stock offering. She says she'll consider going in on it, then leaves. Noah appears and asks Nick to sign a paper for school. Nick tells Noah about the memorial plaque for the baby up at the Abbott cabin. Noah suggests that he tell Sharon about it. Nick asks Noah to look out for her - she's still grieving and lonely.

Noah arrives back at Sharon's house, where he is surprised to see Adam. He gets her to sign the paper for school, and then leaves again. Adam and Sharon muse that was another close call! He leaves the house, and she has barely closed the door when there is a knock on it - it's Nick. He wants to talk to her about what happened yesterday. He tells her about the plaque with Faith's name on it up at the cabin. He says he hopes it brings her as much peace as it brings him. Sharon says the idea of anyone walking by up there and seeing something so private is unappealing. She is upset that he made this decision without her - it was very presumptuous! Sharon asks him to get out - he does.

Amber tracks Deacon down at Indigo. She tells him that Daniel has been subpoenaed by the Grand Jury and she wants him to fix it. He produces his own subpoena and tells her that she had her chance - now she and her little man are out of luck!

Victoria finds Heather at Crimson Lights. Vikki asks her to please take her off the Grand Jury list. Heather asks why she should do anything after the way her family treated her. They have terse words about Adam and Heather says she hopes the jury makes her squirm.

Phyllis is the next to find Deacon at Indigo. She confronts him about the murder in the alley. He asks how she can be so hot, yet so annoying at the same time. They banter back and forth, with him telling her she coddles her son, and her warning that he has no idea what she is capable of! Once she leaves, Deacon makes a phone call to someone, saying he has no intention of implicating himself in front of the Grand Jury, and he's sick of taking the heat!

Jack and Emily meet up at the Club. She tells him that Paul saw them together and had a few words for her. He hopes she isn't considering not seeing him anymore. Emily notes that it isn't anything serious between them. Jack narrows his eyes and asks, "Who says it isn't?"

Adam lurches into Crimson Lights, banging into things. Heather notices and attempts a conversation with him. He tells her he's moved on and she should too. Michael follows, and he and Heather have an exchange about whether or not Daniel could be guilty - she sneers that his prints are all over the weapon! Phyllis watches then corrals Amber, telling her that if worst comes to worst, she can set her and Daniel up with a Brazilian bank account - she wants Amber to talk Daniel into leaving the country!
