Chloe and Chance reconnect, Mac goes ahead with her plan on her own, and Ryder refuses to cooperate.
Billy arrives at Mac's bar and waves a white napkin, saying, "I come in peace." He tells her that they shouldn't be fighting about her having Cane and Lily's baby. She rushes into his arms, thinking that he's changed his mind about it. She's wrong - he says he's going to put coffee on and make her see how crazy this idea is! They begin bickering about it - she says she needs her life to mean something. Billy argues that she didn't see that phony Cane drooling over Chloe when she carried his baby. Mac realizes that's what is bothering him - that the first time she gives birth, it won't be his kid! Billy says he won't watch her give birth to a baby and hand it over to a man he can't stand to be in the same room with - if she can't understand that, then he can't help her!
At the hospital, Nina chats with Phillip, who is holding Delia. He notes that Chloe's been here all night. Nina tells him she appreciates him staying by her side through this.
In Chance's room, he finally wakes up. Chloe beams, strokes his face, and says, "Hi!" Chance grimaces in pain as Nina, Phillip, and the baby come in. He tells Chloe he's done three tours in Iraq - he could take a punk with a butter knife. She says that punk put him in the hospital. She takes the baby and turns to leave - he asks her to be sure to come back. Phillip goes out too. Nina tells Chance his father stayed all night. Chance says Chloe did too. Nina tells him she doesn't know what she would do if she lost him.
Noah and Eden have breakfast with Lauren and Michael at the Club. They discuss homework, and Michael says they seem to be a good influence on one another. Noah talks about how nice it is not to be in a hospital waiting room anymore.
At the Ranch, Ashley tells Abby that she is going out, and Adam won't be home until late because he's away on business. She warns Abby not to try to leave the house or the staff will call her. Ashley goes, and Abby leaves shortly afterward.
Daniel listens to Amber planning their wedding at Crimson Lights. When she runs off, Kevin laughs at Daniel and jokes with him that his only role is to show up and say his vows, then to dance the first dance. Daniel smiles, but then frowns as he spots Ryder. He tells Kevin that guy almost ruined his life - he can't believe he's still working there! Kevin says he's his brother. Daniel warns that Ryder's bad news!
Ashley goes to a meeting at Abby's school. She learns that Abby has been skipping classes and is making no effort - she is at risk of failing if she doesn't change her habits. Ashley gives the woman a dressing-down, saying the teacher isn't supporting her daughter, then she storms out.
Noah and Eden meet up with Daisy and Abby at Crimson Lights. They are supposed to be studying, but Abby makes it clear she has no intention of it. When Daisy remarks on a hot boy in their school, Abby says she wants someone older and more worldly - she looks in at Ryder. The others leave for school, and Abby stays behind, smiling.
Michael arrives at the coffee house where Ryder is telling Kevin that he knows Daniel wants to get rid of him. They discuss Ryder's case - Kevin urges him to tell Michael where he was the night of the murder. Ryder doesn't want to. Abby appears and takes Ryder aside, saying they didn't get a chance to chat last time. Ryder smirks. Michael murmurs to Kevin that he shouldn't trust someone who won't even say what his alibi is - this might not be a happy ending. Kevin wonders who he could be protecting, but Michael points out that he may just be guilty! Kevin goes over to speak to Ryder, and Abby hisses at him not to interrupt. Kevin tells her Ryder's working, and she's supposed to be in school! He then asks Ryder if he's nuts - he's flirting with jailbait!
On the patio at Crimson Lights, Amber and Lauren meet up with Daniel. They discuss the wedding, and Amber says the Kings of Leon are going to play at the reception, and she's thinking of hang-gliding off the roof of the Chancellor Mansion! Daniel is not pleased about the hang-gliding. Lauren excuses herself. Amber tells Daniel that she knows she is going a little over-the-top, but the truth is, they've both said these vows before, and she wants everyone to know that this time it's for keeps. Daniel kisses her and says she can have whatever she wants.
In the waiting area of the hospital, Nina approaches Chloe and tells her she can go home. Chloe smirks and asks if she's worried she's going to seduce Chance in his hospital bed. Nina sighs and says she heard what Chloe told Katherine - she knows she cares for Chance, but that doesn't mean she's over Billy. Chloe goes into Chance's hospital room, and Phillip appears. He talks to Nina about the way he expected to be taken into her and Chance's little family when he came back, and when it didn't happen, he complained to her about it - he feels terrible about that.
Lauren walks up to the counter in Crimson Lights as Ryder denies to Kevin that he was flirting with Abby. Kevin remarks that he made some bad choices with women, and Ryder gets angry - he points out that they're not twins! Lauren tells Kevin he doesn't think Ryder will make the same mistakes as he did, but she still doesn't trust him!
In his hospital room, Chance holds Delia, and tells the little girl that her mommy finally admitted her feelings for him. Chloe shows Chance where she signed the divorce papers, and tells him how she feels. They kiss after she says, "You're it for me!"
Michael meets with Ashley at the Ranch. They discuss their teenagers. Ash admits that she grounded Abby, Michael tells her that he's learned that sometimes putting your foot down doesn't work - sometimes you have to listen to them. Abby comes in and Michael leaves. Ashley asks Abby why she's not at school, and Abby says it's not a big deal. Ashley informs her that it's a very big deal, then confronts her about school. Abby doesn't want to talk to her about it, and says she doesn't even care about her mid-terms. When Ashley says she loves her, Abby is rude, and eventually leaves the room, even though Ashley orders her to come back!
Lauren returns to the patio of the coffee house, where Daniel and Amber have made up. Amber and Lauren go inside. Kevin approaches Daniel, and they get into it about Ryder again. Kevin says either way, someone he cares about is going on trial for murder! Daniel says if Ryder does manage to slip away, it's not going to be good for any of them!
Billy arrives at the hospital looking for Chloe and Delia. Nina tells him that they are in with Chance - Chloe thought the baby would cheer him up. Billy says he could use some cheering up too. He wanders over and opens the door to Chance's room, where he takes in the sight of Chloe, Chance, and Delia interacting and smiling together. Chloe spots him and she and the baby join him in the waiting room. Billy admits that he doesn't like seeing his daughter so comfortable with another guy. Chloe says he'll always be Delia's father, but someday he may have to accept a stepfather in the picture - just as she has to accept a stepmother. She goes back in to say goodbye to Chance, where Nina asks if everything is alright. Chloe says if it's not, it's not her problem. She kisses Chance and leaves. Chance and Nina then notice that Phillip has left again too. Nina looks upset about that.
Michael comes back to the coffee house and greets Lauren. He says he's meeting with a prospective client, and gestures toward Mackenzie. Eden comes in, and Lauren says they need to talk, and asks her and Noah about Abby. Eden says they warned her about Ryder, but she still is trying to hook up. Michael sits down and tells Mac what she'll need to do in order to be a surrogate. She informs him no one will be supporting her - she's doing this on her own. As Lauren stands by the counter, she watches Daisy come in and warn Ryder to stay away from Abby Carlton, or he'll end up in prison. Michael wanders over and Lauren tells him she's impressed with Daisy.

Ashley asks Adam if she can talk to him about something. He asks if it's Newman business, but she says it's something entirely different.
Michael tells Ryder that either he's guilty, and he's lying about this alibi, or he's covering for someone.
Daniel says to Amber, "I do have something that I've got to tell you."
