Paul turns Victor down, Sharon visits Ashley, and Chloe lies to Chance!
Victor and Jack react with shock to the sight of Emily Peterson - they want to call the police, until she explains who she really is and Paul backs her up. Jack turns to Victor, "You gave Patty her own doctor's face?" Victor says he's never seen her before, but Jack doesn't believe him. Victor tells Emily she'll end up in the cell next to Patty, but Jack defends her. She says she can speak for herself, and insists she had nothing to do with what happened - he's the one who is responsible for Patty - she was making progress. Emily tells Victor that he'll never control her! Paul vouches for Emily's credentials. Victor threatens to ruin her career, saying Patty was a dangerous psychopath, and she should have her license revoked. As Emily and Victor go at each other, Jack pipes up, saying he'll help her take Victor on. Emily turns to Jack and says Mr. Newman may have taken advantage of the damage done to Patty, but he's the one who caused it! Jack says he hasn't forgotten what he did to Patty, but Emily says he moved on with his life as though nothing happened. She informs Victor she'll be involved in Patty's treatment again now, then leaves. Jack chastises Paul for not warning them ahead of time, then leaves. Paul then confronts Victor about letting himself off the hook. He turns to leave, but Victor stops him.
At the Ranch, Billy is stunned by Ashley having such faith in him that she's willing to lend him the money to buy Restless Style. He hugs her and runs off happily. Adam appears and tells Ashley the baby is asleep. Ash is pleased that he and Faith are bonding. She tells him that they're a family.
In a chapel, Sharon talks to 'Faith', saying she couldn't wait to meet her, and now it's going to be longer, but one day she'll hold her in her arms. Sharon talks to Cassie too, telling her she's fine, and what she's doing in her life.
Mac comes into the coffee house and spots Chance. They greet one another and briefly discuss Billy and Chloe always being in one another's life. Mac breaks the news that Billy is buying the magazine. Chance is stunned. Mac gives reasons why she thinks Billy will be fulfilled. Chance remarks that he will be like her then. Mac looks sad, then says that she hasn't been able to spend as much time at the shelter as she'd like, but she shouldn't complain when her friend Lily is going through chemo! Chance assures her that the few hours she does spend at the shelter mean a lot.
Phyllis and Chloe are working at Restless Style when Nick comes in. He kisses Phyllis and asks if there's been any word from Billy. Phyllis says there hasn't, then speculates on how fun some of the work has been, and whether she made the right decision in offering to sell. Billy walks in and says he has their check. Phyllis looks a little glum, and Billy asks if there's a problem? Phyllis and Nick step aside and discuss her 'cold feet'. She worries that Summer might want to go into this business. Nick says she should only stay if she's passionate about it - otherwise, pass the torch. Phyllis decides to sell. She and Billy sign the papers and Phyllis tells the staff.
Ashley arrives at the church to plan for the christening. Sharon hears her voice and comes to greet her - she says her bereavement group meets down the hall. Ashley talks to Sharon about her loss, and Sharon offers Ashley congratulations. Adam comes to the doorway and sees them embrace. He steps in and says he doesn't want to interrupt, but Ashley excuses herself. Adam tells Sharon he's going to be Faith's godfather. Sharon suggests that Adam go to see Victor - it will be good for him to know there's been some healing. Adam thanks her as she leaves. Ashley reappears and shows Adam where he'll stand during the christening. They discuss how bad they feel for Sharon, and Adam says she encouraged him to visit Victor. Ashley says Victor always manages just fine.
Billy calls Mac, who is still with Chance, telling her to come over to Restless Style. She hangs up, tells Chance the news, and leaves. Chance calls Chloe, who is at the magazine, and asks her if anything exciting is happening. She replies, "Same old, same old." He says goodbye abruptly.
At Restless Style, Billy puts his feet up on his desk and grins. Mac comes in and they embrace. Phyllis and Nick say they're leaving and get into the elevator, wishing Billy luck. Billy addresses his staff, and Chance walks in. He confronts Chloe about not telling him about the sale of the magazine over the phone. She tries to make excuses, but he doesn't want to hear it. He says he made it clear that nothing could happen between them while she's still hung up on Billy. She says he seems a little jealous, but he says he's just done! Chance tells her that Billy doesn't think she's 'the one', then leaves. Chloe turns to see Billy and Mac drinking champagne and sharing a kiss.
Sharon turns up at the Ranch. She tells Ashley that she brought a box of things that she had at home for her baby - she thought Ashley might like them. Ashley becomes emotional, saying she thought their girls might grow up together. She looks at a locket in the box - it's engraved 'Faith'. Ashley tells her she should keep this, and Sharon says maybe she's right. Ashley offers to be there if she needs to talk. Sharon thanks her and they listen as the baby starts crying. Sharon leaves.
Adam comes into Victor's hospital room as Victor is telling Paul that this whole thing with Emily Peterson is incredible - that Patty would change her looks to match her doctor's. He offers to pay Emily Peterson's living expenses while she treats Patty. Paul tells him to keep his guilt money! After Paul leaves, Adam remarks to Victor that he'd hate to be that lookalike! Victor wants to change the subject. He tells Adam he hasn't begun to 'get past' what he did to him, and he has a long way to go before he earns back his trust. Adam, who thought differently, is taken aback, and leaves.
Jack catches up with Emily at the Club bar. He tells her how ashamed he is of the way he treated Patty - it took so little to make her happy, and he could have cared less. He notes that she still has the same sweet, desperate look in her eye now. Emily is pleased that he visited Patty, and says she does believe that he's sorry. Jack says he wanted to explain himself. Emily asks, "To me? Or to this face?" She leaves and Jack sighs.
Phyllis and Nick sit down at a table in the Club and discuss her newfound freedom. They kiss.
