Ashley fools the doctor, Jack lies to Phyllis, and Paul and Mary Jane are on the run!
At the Ranch, Jack and Victor bicker about Ashley's upcoming evaluation. Abby listens from the stairs and then confronts Jack about wanting to put her mother in a mental hospital! Jack and Victor try to calm Abby who is worried that her mom will be put in a straitjacket! The doctor arrives and Abby tells her that her mom isn't the crazy one - she looks pointedly at Jack. Victor says he wants to be present for the evaluation, but the doctor says it's not possible.
Upstairs, Adam coaches Ashley about how to pass the evaluation. He says he researched the doctor online, and he can help her get through this and convince her that she's sane. Adam says the first group of questions will be easy - it's the case-specific questions that will be dicey. He says to laugh off anything about Sabrina, but not to laugh too hard. He tells her she can do this! Victor and the doctor come in, then he and Adam leave the room. Dr. Jameson asks some preliminary questions, then gets down to business. They discuss John, then Sabrina - Ashley tells her that she doesn't believe in ghosts. She recalls Adam's advice as she answers the rest of the questions.
JT arrives at the Club and is taken to the room where Mary Jane was staying. There are signs of a struggle, but no sign of Mary Jane or Paul. JT calls to report him missing, telling the person on the phone he may have been kidnapped - or worse! He then calls Nick and asks for him and Phyllis to meet him at the Club - it's about Mary Jane Benson!
Paul and Mary Jane are driving in a car. He tells her she can put away the knife. He calls her Patty, and she says he won't soften her up by calling her that - she tells him to keep driving! Paul says she's just a little mixed up right now - he knows she didn't get that way on her own - he asks who helped her come up with this plan. As he keeps questioning her, she tells him to shut up, saying it's no wonder Nikki left him, he just doesn't let up! She apologizes, but they continue bickering. Finally, he hits the brakes hard - Mary Jane holds her hands to her face in horror - she has stabbed Paul and there's blood! Paul tells her everything is going to be fine, but soon they hear sirens. She asks if he is going to turn her in?
Phyllis is still at the mental facility with Sharon. Phyllis says that Jack hasn't visited and wasn't even there when she checked in! Sharon tells her it's none of her business. Phyllis's phone rings, but she doesn't answer it - she tells Sharon she's not leaving until she explains what is going on between her and Jack! Sharon says that nothing is going on - in fact, he just called! Phyllis says he's the type who likes to feel baby kicks and stuff. Sharon then says that it's because of her - she keeps calling her weak - so she's decided to stop leaning on her exes! Phyllis says she won't go to Jack and question him.
Downstairs at the Ranch, Abby, Victor, and Jack pace while the doctor is with Ashley upstairs. Adam appears and accuses Jack of doing this because of his vendetta against Victor. He proclaims that he won't allow Jack to poison Ashley against Victor the way he did with him! Jack smirks and says he's laying it on a bit thick. Victor says family sticks together at times like this. The doctor comes downstairs and tells Jack that he's right - his sister has been under a great deal of stress - but she clearly knows the difference between illusion and reality. Jack is flabbergasted that she says Ashley would be further traumatized by being removed from the house. Victor tells Jack to get out. Adam makes a smug remark as he is leaving - Jack wonders if he has a stake in this himself?!
At the Club, JT meets with Nick and Heather and tells them what is going on with Mary Jane. Nick is worried about Summer and gets on the phone to check on her. Nick is a little concerned that Phyllis isn't answering her phone. JT wonders if Mary Jane would go after Sharon. Nick says he'll check on Sharon, and to keep him posted. Heather begins getting upset about Paul, saying she didn't even get a chance to tell him she loves him. JT reassures her. Heather calls the police to check in and says she wants this woman put away for life when she's found! She hangs up and JT tells her that the police saw Paul's car, but they took off when the officer approached. Heather frets that Mary Jane probably has a weapon!
Nick turns up at the psychiatric facility looking to speak to Sharon's doctor just as Phyllis is leaving. She steps back out of the way so he won't see her, then leaves. Nick tells the doctor about the possible threat to Sharon, then makes another call to Phyllis, saying he's really starting to get worried about her. Just then, Sharon appears. He tells her about Mary Jane, and mentions being worried about Phyllis. She says that Phyllis was just there - she thinks she was worried about him visiting. Sharon says she's going back to her room, and thanks him for checking in on her. He says he's proud of her, and gives her a hug.
Abby comes into the living room of the Ranch with some tea. Adam suggests she give her parents some time alone. She says she realizes he really does care about her mom, and apologizes for not giving him a fair shake!
Upstairs, Victor tells Ashley that the doctor says she's fine. He invites her to come downstairs, but she just wants to sleep. He leaves the room. He goes downstairs and reassures Abby. Adam, meanwhile, heads up the stairs and taps on Ashley's door. He says she pulled it off, and she says she never could have done it without him. She asks him why Heather and Rafe don't come around anymore. He says they must have got tired of his limitations. She tells him that's too bad, because he's an incredible man. He gets up to leave, but she asks him to lie next to her!
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis runs into Jack and says that Sharon told her he hasn't been to visit her. She mentions that Nick was there, though. Jack throws up his hands, saying he can't do this right now - he just left his sister in a house of horrors! Phyllis says she's sorry about Ashley, and she asks Jack if he's okay - are he and Sharon on the outs? He refuses to look at her, and she presses, saying the only reason she can think of that he wouldn't want to see Sharon is because of paternity. She blurts, "Nick is the father, isn't he?" Jack says he can't believe she'd even go there, and denies it's true. She challenges him to look her in the eye and tell her it's not true. He does.
Paul and Mary Jane arrive at the church. He says he is Father Todd William's brother, and this is their sister - they need sanctuary from the law! The minister tells them to come in before someone sees them.
