The Young and the Restless - DAILY UPDATES

At Newman Enterprises, Victor tells Victoria that he wants to get rid of Brad Carlton from the Board of Directors. Victoria leaves. JT and Brad come into the room. JT explains that Brad is upset because he cannot log on to the Board of Directors online site. Victor says he has blocked his access - this is a family company and he wants him out! Brad threatens to sue Victor, who laughs and tells him to go ahead!

Nikki and Paul are at Crimson Lights, they discuss the latest issue of Restless Style, and also Katherine's book. Paul walks over to Kevin and Daniel and asks Kevin for more information on the woman claiming to be Kay. Paul says if it's really her, he'll help her, but if it's a hoax, it needs to stop now! Kevin tells Paul about Murphy. When Nikki walks up, he pretends to be discussing sports tickets. Nikki and Paul leave.

Amber arrives at the trailer and Katherine and Murphy greet her happily. Amber refers to the trailer and reminds Katherine that she once told her that true class meant being able to be comfortable no matter where you are! They discuss Katherine's lack of memories and Amber suggests that she go to see a doctor. Murphy says he tried to get her to go, but she would have no part of it. Amber tells her she was having memory troubles before the accident, and that this is the way to get home! Katherine agrees to go, and Amber phones Daniel to fill him in.

JT finds Victoria in her office and recounts what went on between Victor and Brad. Victoria says Brad seems serious about fighting for his seat on the board. She tells JT it will probably get ugly.

Colleen and Brad meet at the GCAC and discuss getting away together. Colleen talks about Abby's new laptop, and Brad says she seems to have a lot of new toys lately! He then offers to get Colleen something - anything she needs, he'll take care of it! Abby joins them and mentions that there is a parent-teacher interview session at her school this afternoon. Brad is upset that he wasn't notified and takes off. Abby and Colleen check out JT's photo in Restless Style. Abby says he is so hot, and Colleen laughs, saying that looking back, she might have done some things differently when she dated him. Just then, JT and Victoria walk in. They all exchange greetings, and as Vikki walks over to see her mother, Colleen teases JT about the photo shoot. Across the room, Nikki complains to her daughter that she still misses Katherine. They discuss Victor, and Nikki remarks that he is all about Ashley and Abby now!

Ashley meets up with Victor at Abby's school for the parent-teacher interview. The teacher is surprised to see Victor there, and Ashley explains the connection. They are in the middle of discussing which level of French class Abby should be in when Brad arrives. He insists that they start over from the beginning! Once the interview is finished. Brad informs Ashley and Victor that he will always be Abby's father in every way that matters, saying, "I'm not handing over my daughter - or my seat on the board!" Ashley sighs as Brad storms out. She tells Victor that this fighting scares her. Victor says Brad just needs to understand that they are with him now! Ashley reminds Victor that Abby grew up with Brad, and Victor and Brad will have to find a way to co-exist.

Back at the coffee house, Daniel and Kevin discuss Katherine. Daniel says that she has agreed to go to the doctor with Amber. Kevin says he is still upset that Amber accused him of murder, but he agrees to help figure out how to help Katherine. Daniel fills Kevin in on the ring. They agree that they need to track it down. Kevin suggests that if the pawnshop owner isn't forthcoming, they'll just have to take the ring back! Daniel says he likes how he thinks!

Paul arrives at Murphy's trailer as Amber and Katherine are leaving for the doctor's office. Paul thinks back to his conversation with Nikki about dropping the case. He knocks on the door and when Murphy answers, he says he is from the Census Bureau and needs to ask him some questions. Murphy invites him in. Paul asks who is living there and Murphy tells him. Paul bonds with him over fishing, and then gets him to sign his clipboard before leaving. Outside, Paul preserves Murphy's fingerprints.

At the doctor's office, Katherine answers questions about her memory loss. The doctor decides to run some tests to try and find out what is wrong with her. The doctor warns that the tests may be expensive, but Amber tells him she'll cover it - go ahead! Katherine becomes upset when the doctor tells her that he will be looking for signs of a stroke, or even Alzheimer's! As the doctor goes to run the tests, Amber comforts her.

Still at the GCAC, Victoria and Nikki talk as JT goes out to bring the car around after lunch. Victoria tells Nikki not to feel bad about Ashley. Nikki claims it doesn't bother her - she's used to Victor moving on and not looking back. She wonders how long it will last this time. Nearby, Brad rejoins Colleen and Abby. He fills Abby in on her classes, and Colleen offers to help anytime. Brad smiles and says that sounds good - he'd actually like them to be together as a family. Brad tells his girls he'd like them to come and live with him. Colleen is reluctant, but Brad promises to treat her like an adult. Colleen leaves without agreeing to anything. Brad tells Abby that regardless of what Colleen does, he'd like her to move in. Abby protests that she likes the Ranch, and she wants to stay there! Just then, Ashley walks in and asks Abby what's wrong. Abby goes out to wait for her in the car, and Ashley asks Brad what he said to upset her so much! Ashley warns Brad she won't sit back and watch him and Victor play tug of war over Abby! After she leaves, Brad calls his lawyer and tells him to file for full custody of Abby!

Victor is back at Newman issuing orders to get Brad off the board by next week. When he leaves the room, JT tells Victoria that finding a reason to get him off the board would be easy - corporate espionage! Victoria says there is no telling what Victor would do if he knew the truth about Brad stealing files from Newman before!

Paul returns to the GCAC to meet Nikki. He tells her what he's been up to, and says he wants to go back and interview the woman claiming to be Katherine. Paul wants Nikki to come along - no one knows Katherine like she does! Nikki agrees to see the woman one last time, and Paul promises that if it's not really her - they'll prosecute!
