The Young and the Restless - DAILY UPDATES

At the Abbott's, Nick walks through the door, accusing Jack of crossing the line. Jack didn't know there was a line. "I want you out of Restless Style!" Nick barks. Jack reminds him that he can't afford to buy him out and can't sever their partnership. Nick says there are certain things he won't do, like gutting his family in public. Jack says that he's lucky he will do it: Sales are way up because of his stunt. He can't believe that Nick feels so sorry for his step-mom. He remains smug and Nick walks out, promising that this isn't over.

At the gala, under the watch of the press, Victor tells his wife to keep her brave face on. He walks off and confronts Phyllis and Sharon, threatening that once he's through with them, there will be nothing left of their magazine. He's sure that Jack did his best to smear Sabrina. He stalks over to his daughter and repeats his threats. Victoria says she had no idea what was in the article but doesn't think it was a hack job. Nikki tells him to look at the accusations instead of blindly defending his wife. Victor bites at her and her "loser husband" and walks off.

Sharon tells Phyllis and Nikki that any publicity could be good publicity. Nikki quickly walks over to her daughter. Phyllis warns that there will be a huge backlash and decides to post the original article on the web, much to Sharon's chagrin. Meanwhile, Victoria leaves her mother to check on her brother. Sabrina walks over and Nikki tells her that the luncheon has gone well. Sabrina saw her arguing with Victor and says that he is only angry because he cares about his family. Nikki is defensive and thinks Victor needs to care a little less.

Katherine approaches Sabrina, happy to see her there but worried about what the stress could do to the baby. They look over at Victor with concern. Sabrina returns to hobnobbing. Victor walks over to Katharine and she breaks the news that David is involved in the gala. He stomps over to Nikki and warns her against David, telling her that she might share the fate of his dead step-daughter. He walks off, calling his car to take him to the Abbott mansion.

At Crimson Lights, Lily wonders when Restless Style became a tabloid. Colleen defends Adrian. They spot Chloe and Lily tells her friend what Chloe is accusing Cane of. They band together and tell Chloe that she isn't welcome there and should get out. Cane walks in, taking Lily away. Chloe spitefully tells Colleen that she will be staying in Genoa City forever.

Jana tells Kevin that the article about Sabrina must be hogwash. He jokes and lets it slip that Amber and Adrian slept together. Colleen overhears this and runs off to vent to Cane and Lily about Amber. JT and Paul walk in and order coffee. Paul spots David and asks him how Mina is doing. David says he hasn't spoken to her in years. Paul heard her called her two weeks ago. David confesses but says he only tried calling as part of the twelve step program. Paul informs him that she was found dead of an overdose. David is shocked and walks off to see his sponsor. Paul is satisfied with this but JT think there are too many corpses connected to that guy. They call around, digging into it but not getting anything concrete. As they worry about Nikki's safety, they spot David returning. Paul decides to leave.

Jana thinks that there is something strange in the air and decides it's time to pull out the Ouija board. She gets it going and interprets it as having a very bad omen. Cane and Lily come over. They discuss houses for a moment. Kevin tries to escape but Jana pulls him back to the board. She asks it if Daniel and Amber will get back together. She freaks out, suggesting the board forecasts disaster. They try again and get the same result. Kevin mocks it. Jana paces, saying there has been another warning sign. Kevin tells her to stop. She tells him they are the next couple destined for catastrophe. He gets annoyed.

Victor arrives at the Abbott house. Jack opens the door with a smile. Victor demands a retraction. Jack tells him everything was checked and Victor has nothing to use against him. Victor doesn't need anything: He threatens to keep them in court forever and take away the building. Jack tells him he should be confronting his wife. "You turn my stomach," Victor says, saying that John would be ashamed of him. Annoyed, Jack orders him out. Victor smirks and walks away.

Daniel and Amber are riding up to Restless Style in the elevator. She tries to talk to him. He promptly walks off the elevator sniping at her. She answers the phone, acting defensive. People keep calling about the Sabrina article and she doesn't know what to say. Daniel tells her she should try just saying "no". Colleen strolls in, already in attack mode. "I know about you and Adrian," she spits, throwing accusations at the blond. Amber is smug and refuses to answer her. Colleen calls her selfish trash for breaking up Daniel's marriage and then cheating on him. They tear at each other's hair until Daniel breaks them up and drags Colleen into the elevator. Chloe strolls in, baffled that people are so uptight about sex. Chloe tells Amber that she's lucky to be there instead of in a museum like Jabot. Chloe tells her to stop stressing and then dishes about Cane, suggesting they compare notes some time. Amber is surprised to hear that he has cheated on Lily.

Daniel stops the elevator. He and Colleen sit and relax. He knows why he's upset right now but wonders what her problem is. She vents about Adrian. Daniel half-shrugs it off, but is still disappointed in Amber.

At Restless Style, Phyllis announces that she has posted the original article on the webzine. She spots Daniel and Colleen together and starts chatting to them while Amber introduces Chloe around. Chloe announces that she is leaving Jabot and giving them the opportunity to hire her. Victoria hurries in and calls Nick over. She worries that their father is refusing to listen to reason. Nick could say the same for Jack. Meanwhile, Amber and Chloe watch as Daniel writes his number on Colleen's hand. After looking through her portfolio, Jack hires Chloe on the spot. A call comes in saying that they are about to sell out in all major markets. Everyone is overjoyed. Jack declares that he is available for all apologies and thank yous. Nick wanted to succeed, but not this way. Phyllis is sure Jack's head will swell so big it will explode. Jack tells Sharon that this only proves that he should be the one running things... and soon, he will be.

Nikki meets with David at the club after making some calls. He's made amends with everyone but her. He hasn't given her the things he promised when they were married. She says they've just had a rough start but knows where they can get back on track: She's bought them a house in both of their names. It was just built but still has potential, just like them, she smiles asking him upstairs to celebrate. As they walk up, Paul watches from the corner. Victor walks in and Paul approaches him, telling him about Nikki's new house.

Katherine goes to the ranch to visit Sabrina. Sabrina thanks her for her support. "You have no idea how much I have come to respect you today," Katherine says.
