An apparition visits Jack, the verdict is in, and Nick and Phyllis have news!
Ashley and Jack are at home, arguing about what happened in court. Ashley tells Jack she'll breathe a lot easier when it's all over, and goes off to get ready.
Jack is in the study, getting some coffee when a voice says to him, "Pass the cream please, Jack!" It's his father! John! He tells his dad that cream is bad for his cholesterol, and thinks aloud that he is hallucinating! The two tell each other they miss one another, and John explains how he is at peace. John also asks Jack to treat his wife with some respect.
Ashley walks in at that moment and Jack tells her what transpired! She's supportive and asks Jack if there is something on his conscious that he needs to work out with their dad. She wonders if that is why he saw their dad.
When Jack is alone, he is flabbergasted once again by his father. John returns, telling Jack to be honest in court today, and tell everyone how he coerced John to write that new will! Jack argues his point that Gloria is out to get him and would do anything to do it. John tells him "Apparently, so would you." Jack yells that he's doing this because she took him away from all of them. John asks him to, "Make me proud you're my son!" and Ashley comes in and they leave.
At Michael's place, Gloria and the crew ready for court. Michael comforts his mother, telling her she has nothing to worry about. Lauren and Kevin are ready to go. Gloria is very nervous and keeps changing earrings.
Back at the ranch, Sharon and Noah have breakfast. Sharon asks about the picnic. He tells her it went well and that he knows about having a little sister. He's happy about the news. He also tells his mom that he likes Phyllis. He tells her that his dad and Phyllis are getting married!
Just then, Nick comes to the door to take Noah swimming. Sharon reams him out for not telling her about coming to get Noah, and about telling him about marrying Phyllis before he let her know first. Sharon thinks that Nick gets his cake and gets to eat it too!
The families meet in court once again, to discuss the will. Jack looks pensive. He sees his dad sitting on the stand, while the judge says she is ready to make her ruling. The final terms of the newest will stands. She sides with Jack and Ashley.
Gloria starts to freak out. She realizes she has lost everything. She yells at Jack and Ashley who tells her justice is served. Gloria tells him that her father loved her and they can't take that away from her.
After Sharon leaves a message for Brad to call her, Dru shows up at the ranch. Sharon tells her of the news about Nick and Phyllis. She's extremely upset by it. Dru is very understanding and gives her strength. She tells Sharon not to let a man validate her self-worth! Sharon smiles, as Dru cheers her up!
Nick and Noah have lunch, and Nick requests that Noah be extra nice to his mother. He agrees to do so.
Ashley and Jack share lunch, and Ashley feels a little sorry for Gloria.
Back at the Baldwin's place, Kevin tires to cheer Gloria but she wants to be left alone. She's devastated, and gets comfort from Michael. Finally, Gloria talks, saying she didn't deserve anything anyway. Michael tells her that those two don't have an ounce of integrity that their dad did. He boosts her morale, telling her he is proud of her for her strength, and is there for her.
Nick and Noah show up to the ranch. Sharon is gone out so Dru snidely congratulates him on his marriage. She tells him that she hopes he knows what he's doing, and leaves for work.
Ashley arrives home, alone. She stares at a picture of her family.
Jack coincidentally meets up with Sharon at the bar. They both have had rough days and share a drink, to John.

Victor yells at Nikki, "Don't you ever question my judgment in business again!"
