Thank you Estrelita for the Jeanne/Corbin update. So Sad.
Did anyone notice in the last scene with Jill and Katherine it was as if they were saying good-bye to each other? That scene was filmed before Jeanne was admitted into the hospital. I have the feeling either Jeanne was retiring or the writers were planning to end Kathryn's character. Anyway, it made me shed a few tears.

Yes, exactly. I thought the same thing. Jill was so nice and kind (for a change) and asked Katherine if she could help her up the stairs. Katherine turned and said she could manage. I got a sad feeling also as if they were saying goodbye.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>... /> @kaycountrygal, another thing I forgot to mention that really gave me the goose-pimples was when Kathryn took two steps up the stairs and turned to Jill and said Good Night (Good-Bye) and then proceeded up the stairs. As she climbed the stairs without looking back, it looked very symbolic of her crossing over to heaven or the afterlife, which was something she had to do on her own so she declined Jill’s help. Then Jill tops it off with a sorrowful look and says Good Night (Good-Bye) as well. I believe that was one of the best scenes (besides Cassie’s death) I have ever seen on Y&R.
    God Bless you, Jeannie

SANFRANCISCO thank you so much for your "mostly friends on here" comment .. I absolutely agree ... and going a little further, I very much value the personal stories we share sometimes ... I think it brings realism to our various opinions and creates the very bond between a lot of us that you mentioned ..

    BLESS YOU
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>... /> @BruceyBoy, you are so right and I totally agree, thank you for elaborating. I think most of us feel the same way. I believe we often help each other by sharing personal experiences and offering advise to those in need, such as Bikette's friend with Breast Cancer and HeyMon's predictament with his son, grandson, and Mom-to-be's living situation. I also noticed that quite a few people stopped watching the episodes and just catch up on what's happening by reading the posts. Maybe it's a good thing that Y&R has gotten so slow and boring, because it gives us an excuse to get more personal with our posts from time to time. Bless you too, my friend!

Premature tribute - Jeannie is still alive as far as I know. This does have pictures of Jeanie in the hospital, I think it was a few weeks ago. The tribute is very nice.

It is unfortunate that so much conflicting information about Jeanne Cooper made it to the boards but I do think that some of the confusion about Jeanne Cooper's condition was caused by comments made by her son. At one point, it sounded as if her death was imminent, as in going to happen within a very short time span. I am not blaming Corbin for giving out too much information. He was certainly under stress but it might possibly have been better if he could have just confined himself to saying she was seriously ill and occasionally updating that her condition was serious or critical or improving. Just my opinion. The soaps board admin has removed nearly all the threads about it & set up some official threads.
I am very sorry that she is so ill and hope she pulls through. If she does not, I do not think her role should be recast. There should only be one Katherine Chancellor, ever.

Re Gus: Hard to believe that Leslie kept hammering on the Rose issue, knowing the effect it seemed to have on her father.

    Hi Everyone!

Sounds like the "torch" is going to be passed from Victor/Jack to Vickie/Adam! LOL TIIC better step up their story writing if they are intending to have Vickie "step in to daddy's shoes" and try to wrest NE away from Adam, because she not only has to deal with Adam, she has to best "dear ol' dad" in the process. She better grow some ENORMOUS chahonies! LOL
