Gloria makes herself comfortable at the Baldwins, Katherine has unanswered questions, and Billy considers staying in Genoa City.
At the Abbott mansion, Gloria sobs as Jack taunts her with the key to the mansion. He tells her to get out, that she doesn't belong there anymore! Kevin comes to the door and she and Kevin can't believe that Jack and Ashley both want them out.
At Kay's, she and Esther discuss a speeding ticket that Esther got, and Billy comes in to talk with Jill about staying there permanently. They want him to stay and he tells them that as soon as the will is read, he's out of there. He shares the news about the probate hearing and the new will. Kay and Jill are completely shocked with disbelief.
Daniel calls Lily from Crimson Lights, asking to see her. He flashes back to being with Lily, dancing, and kissing, while a country and western song plays. (Could not find the name or group who sings the song.)
At the Baldwin's place, Lauren places a cool cloth over Michael's eyes to help with the migraine headache he has, because of Jack!
Later, as Lauren gets a tender massage from Michael, Gloria and Kevin interrupt by pounding on Michael and Lauren's door - garbage bags in hand! Gloria and Michael realise that John could have written the new will when John was going through dementia.
Lauren invites them to stay the night. Lauren offers to have someone from her store come over to pick up Gloria's dresses for ironing, and a thankful Gloria goes off to bed,.. not before asking for their help in getting settled in!
Later, Lily shows up at Crimson Lights to talk with Daniel. She happily accepts a present from him for graduation – a few mementos from their last year of high school together, in a gorgeous silver, engraved jewelry box!
Jack and Ashley are thrilled that they have peace and quiet around the house now. They discuss this as Jack goes around the living room; garbage can in hand, tossing out all reminders of Gloria. (Pictures and knick-knacks.)
Katherine shows up at the house, with questions that Jack and Ashley can't answer. Kay thinks it odd that John didn't mention the changes to his will, when he as much as told her that he'd provided for Gloria! She tells Jack and Ashley that she plans to do more investigation into the new will, and leaves.
After she leaves, Ashley has questions for Jack. She worries that they'll be in court for years because of this new will, and wonders what Jack had to do with the new will. He lies and tells her he had nothing to do with the changes.
Ashley is very skeptical that Jack seems to be making his own luck, since their father's death.
Billy drops by Crimson Lights and Lily introduces Daniel to Billy. At Crimson Lights, Jana meets Billy and sparks fly!! Billy shares news with Lily and Daniel that after he finishes college he would like to take a trip around the world.
Kevin takes Billy aside and shares news about he and Gloria being thrown out of the mansion. Billy tells Kevin to go talk to someone about it who can help him. He tells Kevin that nobody thinks of Gloria as family anymore.
After Billy leaves, Kevin asks Jana on another date. The two try to plan what adventure they'll get themselves into!
Back at home, Katherine shares information with Jill that Jack and Ashley claim not to have known about the new will until late last night. Because of this, Kay decides to ensure that her will is up to date!
Later, Billy arrives, and Kay asks him to consider working for Jabot. He has considered it, and tells Jill and Kay that he does intend on learning the family business!
