Phyllis confronts Jack, Summer schemes, and Kevin frets about the company.
At the Club, Ronan questions Phyllis about why she'd want to work at Newman - is it about Nick? Phyllis says Nick wants nothing to do with the company. At the bar, Adam and Jack discuss Nick not having the heart for business. He appears as Jack welcomes Adam to Newman as CFO. Nick accuses Adam of selling his shares to Jack in return for a high-level position. Adam and Nick bicker about Victor and his company. Phyllis watches. Adam and Nick then discuss Summer. Adam says she doesn't give a damn about his family - she's a narcissist. Jack steps between them. Nick spots Phyllis with Ronan and leaves. Ronan asks Phyllis about their relationship, but she just wants to know if Jack hired Adam. They run into Summer. Phyllis says she met Ronan by chance. Summer tells them to do whatever they want - she's not upset by it anymore.
Kevin leaves Michael a message to call him at Crimson Lights. Chloe points out that he told him to go to hell, and that he and Lauren don't have the money to buy Adam out. They talk about Chelsea. Chloe thinks that may be their next move. She leaves. Eden arrives and Kevin snaps at her for being late. She reminds him she called earlier, and asks what's wrong. He says the website is going down the toilet. She asks if she can help. He quips, "Get me $15 million dollars by Monday." Kevin puzzles over what to do about Tag 'n' Grab. Michael calls. Kevin makes plans to see him later. He tells Eden he may have to ask Gloria for financial help.
Sharon is on Adam's house phone when Chelsea starts coming in the door. Sharon hides and then slips out. Chloe arrives and asks Chelsea if she's okay. Chelsea says, "Have you ever felt like you're losing your mind?" Chelsea describes her feeling that someone was in the house. They talk about the miscarriage and Adam not showing his feelings. Chelsea admits she accused him of having an affair even though she totally trusts him. Chloe suggests she distract herself with a job. They discuss Tag 'n' Grab. Chloe suggests there may be something Chelsea could do to help. Soon they're on the phone to Kevin asking him to come over. After Kevin arrives, Adam comes home. They inform him that Chelsea wants to work with Chloe and Kevin in his place. Adam's not pleased she didn't discuss it with him first. Once alone, Chelsea is angry at Adam. "You think I'm not smart enough to take your place at Tag 'n' Grab?" They argue and Chelsea goes upstairs. Adam spots Sharon's photo of Noah on the floor.
Nick arrives home to find Noah has Faith dressed as a fairy for Halloween. She wants Sharon. Noah says she's out of town. Nick takes a photo to send Sharon. Noah and Nick discuss Sharon - Noah thinks she's hiding something. He tells Nick about Adam being at her house the other day. He worries something's happened to her.
Sharon hustles into her cottage and shuts the door. There's a knock. Sharon opens the door to a trio of trick-or-treaters, panics, and slams it. She sleeps and wakes up frightened. Adam finds her in the dark and confronts her about going to the main house. She tells him she left Noah a message and that being locked up there is making her worse. Adam offers to call a doctor. Sharon agrees to it.
Nick and Noah enter Sharon's house to search for clues to her whereabouts. Noah finds a smoky smelling sweater in her closet. Nick realizes neither of them has seen her since the night of the fire and wonders if she had something to do with it.
Summer meets Fen at Crimson Lights patio and tells him about Phyllis and Ronan. Summer sees Ronan meet the teen boy inside and return his wallet. They discuss Summer. The boy asks if she's in his program too. Ronan says she's not, and realizes she stole the wallet. When Ronan's gone, Summer drags Fen over to the boy and asks him to hang out sometime. After he agrees, and leaves. Summer tells Fen she wants 'Jamie' to be their best friend. He asks, "Then what?"
Phyllis visits Jack and says, "Please tell me you did not just hire Adam to work at Newman." They argue. Jack says he can handle Adam and she won't have her office near his. Phyllis thinks his bullet pain has clouded his judgement. Jack says he'll see her tomorrow for the operation.
Chelsea asks where Adam was when he returns home. He says he was out for a walk. They make up. Adam tells her Jack hired him. She's not thrilled.
Genoa City Spoilers for Tomorrow on The Young and the Restless:
Avery tells Chloe, "There's nothing in there that prevents him from taking out his money." Chloe says, "We're at the mercy of Adam Newman."
Sharon lights a match and is fascinated by the flame.
Nikki asks Victor if anyone has spoken to Sharon since that night. Victor says he has a long list of enemies. Nikki insists, "This was personal."
