Phyllis learns she's fired, Victoria juggles offers, and Ashley threatens Jack.
At Crimson Lights, Billy tells Vikki he hopes Phyllis understands his position. Ashley appears and asks Vikki about working at Jabot. Vikki says she talked to Jack about Beauty of Nature. Ash says they're separate and Jack's out at Jabot. Billy asks if he knows that.
At Gloworm, Gloria goes over a tasting menu with Jack and Nikki. Jack and Nikki kiss as Sharon and Victor enter. Sharon observes that Victor can't take his eyes off Nikki. He mutters if he wanted to be with her, he'd be with her. Nearby, Jeffrey kisses Gloria, and then tells Anita he convinced her she was lying about them being married. Meanwhile, Nikki and Victor meet at the bar and discuss Nick supporting Phyllis. Soon, they're bickering about themselves. Sharon approaches Jack, who tells her Nikki and Victor have a strong pull. Sharon says Nikki won't get her hooks back in Victor. Jack notes Sharon's bitterness. Ashley appears and confronts Jack about Victoria and the companies. He won't resign from Jabot. Ash says she'll have the board remove him.
In Kansas, Adam tells Chelsea it's cool that she lets him embrace his inner hick - none of his exes did. They kiss. Suddenly, Chelsea freaks - she saw a mouse! Adam chases it as she screams. A boy appears looking for Elmer, his pet mouse. Adam hands it over and laughs at Chelsea. Soon, they're on a plane back to Genoa City, where Adam advises Chelsea not to care what anyone in town thinks.
At the penthouse, Phyllis and Nick discuss Restless Style. Nick hopes Billy will look the other way on all this. Phyllis is confident he will. She muses about defending herself in print. She leaves, and Avery arrives. She thanks Nick for standing by her sister, but is concerned that Phyllis was considering writing an article to plead her case - it's the worst thing she could do!
Billy and Vikki discuss Ashley and Jack at Restless Style. He suggests she work for him instead. She doesn't want conflict. Phyllis arrives. She apologizes for embarrassing the family. Vikki shrugs that she's hardly the first. Phyllis says Nick is supporting her, and she's ready to dive back into work. Billy says he has to let her go - the TV producers will pull the plug otherwise. She's appalled to hear that she will be on the next cover and in the pilot.
Vikki arrives at Jack's table in Gloworm. He asks her about Beauty of Nature. Victor watches and then leaves. Ashley joins Sharon. She tells her they have a bond because of Faith, and warns that Victor's priorities are himself, Nikki, his kids, and his company - trying to capture his heart is futile. Sharon says she's not Ashley, and she knows what she's doing. Across the room, Anita is unhappy with Jeff. She tells Glo again that they're married. Gloria says she'll get to the bottom of it and calls Michael. Nikki joins Vikki and Jack. Vikki leaves with Nikki to meet Lauren. Jack makes some calls. He mutters that it's a mistake for Ash to try to run him out. When two board members show up and tell Jack they'll vote for him, Ashley goes ballistic. Jack informs her he'll be holding his current position.
Phyllis returns home and tells Avery and Nick that she got fired and Billy will expose her in the magazine and on TV. Nick's pissed and leaves. Avery forbids Phyllis to write a blog. Phyllis says words are the only way she can fight.
At Restless Style, Billy tells Nick that Phyllis is just getting the view from the other side. He wonders if she's going to run him down when he leaves the office. Nick punches him, and says he regrets starting the magazine. Billy says they can stop now, or he can call the cops. Later, Billy learns the attack was videotaped.
Victor visits Victoria at home. He offers to keep newlyweds Adam and Chelsea away from her. She asks what that will cost her. Victor wants her to work at Newman. She sighs over all the offers. Victor says Jack just wants everything that belongs to him. Nikki arrives, so Victor leaves. Vikki asks Nikki what she should do. Nikki says it has to be her choice.
Adam removes a blindfold from Chelsea and tells her they're in their new home. He lists off the amenities. She's stunned and thrilled!
At home, Victor looks at a wedding album of him and Nikki and declines to join Sharon at the stables.
Nick returns to the penthouse and agrees with Avery that Christine will use anything Phyllis writes against her. Phyllis feels helpless.
