Michael presses Phyllis for the truth, Harmony asks Neil on a date, and Christine makes an announcement.
Lily and Cane are at home. Cane mentions that his mom must be out of money. Lily wonders what she’s living on.
At the club Genevieve doesn't want to be a charity case and asks Tucker for a job. She brings up her credentials but he hesitates. He doesn't want to mix business and pleasure but he'll think about it. Cane arrives to tell the manager he wants to pay Genevieve’s bill but the manager says Mr. McCall covered it. He spies Genevieve and Tucker and heads over. Tucker leaves them alone. Cane says he would have helped her and warns her about involving herself with him. She admits they have a history and are getting reacquainted - she’ll deal with it her own way. Later, Tucker stops to talk with Cane. He admits Genevieve was the only one who broke his heart. Cane is worried that he'll get in the way of her turning her life around. Later, Genevieve asks Tucker if he's helping her because he still cares. He pleads the fifth. Nearby, Nick catches up with Avery. She asks about Phyllis and suggests that Michael is worried about her too. Avery confesses that she feels responsible for the strain Phyllis is under and hopes she can repair their relationship. Nick admits it's hard for Phyllis to trust.
Neil stops by Harmony’s table at Gloworm. He wants to join her but she makes excuses about it being a threat to her recovery. He doesn't want to jeopardize her sobriety so he gets his own table.
Michael shows up at Restless Style and demands Phyllis talk to him. He admits that he knows about Daisy's blackmail… the rental car… the hit and run. She asks where he got this idea. He enlightens her on the details of the rental car and the case. She claims Ricky and Daisy falsified the records and were going after her. Phyllis is freaking out and can't believe he's asking her all this. He asks her point blank why she did it. Michael tells her the statute of limitations has expired and she won't be charged but says, "You still have to face me." Nick appears in the background as Phyllis swears it wasn't her. Nick asks Michael what he's doing. Michael tells Phyllis it would be a mistake to hide then leaves. Phyllis tells Nick everyone hates her and now Michael is on their side - he accused her of attempted murder. She told him he was wrong but Nick asks if that's the truth. Phyllis appears hysterical and goes on about being alone. Nick says he'll help her fight. She tearfully tells him she didn't do it. When Nick leaves Phyllis looks stressed.
Ana is recording a track for Devon at his studio when Lily wanders in and wants to hear it. Ana phones Harmony to invite her then Harmony invites Neil to come. Later they all groove to Ana’s song. She hugs Harmony. While alone Lily tells Neil he can’t keep following around Harmony with puppy dog eyes and Harmony tells Devon she and Neil aren’t acting on their feelings. Later, Harmony gives Neil kudos for helping her kids. She wants him in her life and if it's a mistake… it'll be her favorite one. She asks him for dinner. He exuberantly accepts.
At the station Paul is released and goes with Christine and Nina for lunch. Avery arrives and Michael catches her. Michael shares the details of the hit and run - they have proof Phyllis rented the car. Avery warns Michael not to speak to Phyllis unless she's present. Later, Nick walks in and asks Michael why he's harassing his wife.
At Lily and Cane's there is a package left at the door. Cane opens it to discover a wad of Swiss francs.
Avery shows up at Restless Style and tells Phyllis they need to talk.
At Crimson Lights, Paul, Christine and Nina discuss Ricky's funeral. Paul mentions that Ricky's grandparents are outraged. Christine finishes a call asking her colleague for help with Phyllis. Paul thinks she should let the hit and run go - he has to bury his son. Paul admits in the moment he did what he had to do but in his life he failed him. Nina consoles him. Paul suggests he wasn't there when Ricky needed him. Christine comes back to give Nina and Paul important news. At the time of the hit and run she was on the payroll as a federal agent. There is no statute of limitations on attempted murder of a federal agent. She announces Phyllis is going to prison.
