Avery and Phyllis argue, Sofia confesses, and Daisy issues a threat.
At Crimson Lights, Kevin tells Michael he's taking Chloe and Delia to see the house today. Over at the door, Avery spots Daniel, who says he's meeting Michael to brainstorm. He has the book Phyllis was given by their father. Avery learns Phyllis left it behind, and takes off. Kevin tells Daniel to call if he wants him at court. Michael coaches Daniel on how to act in court tomorrow.
At the Chancellor estate, Esther cries over Chloe potentially moving. Katherine tries to talk her down. Chloe says she's only looking at the house because Kevin got Delia excited about it. She's confident Delia won't like the old thing. Kevin arrives and tells Chloe he can already imagine them in the house. He wants to grow old there together, and asks her to give it a chance.
On the patio at Crimson Lights, Sofia lets Tucker know she has a real problem with continuing to deceive Neil. Neil enters and asks if they got into it again. Playing along, Tucker tells him it's not his business. Neil stands up for Sofia. Tucker leaves, and Neil offers Sofia a job at Chancellor Industries. Sofia confesses she can't work there because she still works for Tucker - she's been lying. Sofia explains their plan. Neil talks about trust and then leaves.
Phyllis coaches Ricky about getting information from Daisy at Restless Style. He takes off to meet her. Harmony and Phyllis discuss Ricky. Phyllis warns her not to let him into her inner circle. Avery appears. She confronts Phyllis about telling Daniel she didn't want the book their father left her. Avery says he wanted her to remember the good times when he was gone. Phyllis reminds Avery she heard their last conversation - he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt from either of them. Avery insists he was a good father. Phyllis thinks he acted fatherly to Avery for the sake of his image. She adds that he left Avery nothing and played them against each other their whole lives. Avery exits.
Ricky arrives at Daisy's place. She is upset over a water leak and reads him the riot act because he hasn't come up with a plan to help her. Ricky says he has to find something in Phyllis's past that will wreck her, and in the meantime, he's working on something that will guarantee Daniel loses in court. Daisy thinks she can convince Daniel to raise Lucy together. Ricky sets her straight. She orders him out. He tells her to call when reality kicks in. Daisy calls Daniel, asking him to pick up Lucy there today due to her leak. When he arrives, Daisy helps Daniel get Lucy ready - she thinks it could be like this all the time. Daniel shuts her down. She threatens to move with no forwarding address, but then tries to backtrack. Daniel says Lucy belongs with him. Later, Daisy gets Ricky back there and tells him to do whatever it takes to keep Daniel from getting custody.
Tucker visits Katherine and tells her about the great moment when Devon's hearing devices were turned on. She thanks him for coming in person to tell her. They discuss Beauty of Nature. Katherine mentions Neil wants to hire Sofia at Chancellor and comments on Tucker and Sofia falling out. Tucker says things aren't always as they appear. Katherine calls him out on his scheme. Tucker congratulates her - she got him. Katherine grabs his cheeks and laughs that it was a beautiful strategy!
At Kevin's house, Chloe pronounces the house to way more out-of-date than she thought. After the tour, she tells him to call his mother and inform her she won't be selling their house. Surprised, Kevin kisses her.
Michael calls Phyllis from the Club bar. Avery arrives and tells him she and Phyllis are upset with each other. Michael shares that Lauren and Fen are still in Canada - they can't keep living this way. They drink to their families keeping things interesting.
Harmony runs into Neil at Crimson Lights. She asks what's up with him. He agrees to have coffee, and tells her someone he trusted let him down. He says they made a bad judgement call and apologized. Harmony thinks forgiveness is in order.
At the penthouse, Phyllis bounces Lucy and tells Daniel to keep the book from George - she loved it and Lucy may love it too. Daniel tells her Daisy threatened to take Lucy and disappear.
Genoa City Spoilers for Tomorrow on The Young and the Restless:
Victor makes a remark to Nikki about falling back into bad habits. She hisses, "I haven't touched a drink." He says he meant Jack Abbott.
Ricky tells Daisy by the end of the night she'll be well on her way to having full custody of her daughter.
On the patio at Crimson Lights, Daniel says, "Lucy? Where did she go?"
