Sharon does a deal, Chloe is worried, and Michael takes care of business.
In Japan, Nick tells Sharon that Phyllis heard about their trip from Adam, and surprisingly, seemed fine with it. They talk about how great their proposal is. Sharon thinks it's important to know about Mitsukoshi too. Nick urges her to follow his lead. Mitsukoshi appears and says he cleared his calendar for Sharon. She says it's nice to see him again. Nick is stunned. Mitsukoshi meets with Sharon alone, and then leaves. Sharon tells Nick she secured the exclusive rights. They share a toast.
In the penthouse, Phyllis is tense. Avery arrives to say Daniel's hearing is tomorrow. Avery asks Phyllis about her mood. Phyllis feels silly, but admits it's because Nick's in Japan with Sharon. She explains that stuff happens when they're together, and admits she obsesses about them. Avery thinks Nick wants Phyllis. Nick calls to tell Phyllis they closed the deal. Phyllis tells him about Daniel's hearing. Nick says he'll come back. Phyllis tells Avery that Nick is coming home. She reaches out to Avery and thanks her for listening. Avery asks, "Are you going to be alright?" Phyllis says she's fine now that Nick will be there for the hearing.
At the Club bar, Adam finds Chelsea studying her birth certificate. Chelsea says she's not returning her mother's calls after she bailed to let Mr. Bardwell deny he is her father. Chelsea says she's used to being disappointed and concludes that her dad's a jerk. Adam says he's hoping it would go well for her. She says she was too. Chelsea thanks Adam for listening. They discuss Anita being a crappy mom. Chelsea says his mom must have been good. Adam says she'd be disappointed in him, and warns Chelsea that she'll change her mind about him too, once she knows him. Chelsea wonders if the birth certificate could be a fake. Adam shrugs that anything's possible.
At the airport, Gloria tells Jeff they should get a DNA test on Chelsea. They agree they both have questions for Anita. Kevin and Chloe arrive on the other side of the waiting area. Chloe is worried about Carmine. Kevin just wants to focus on their honeymoon. He teases her that she's got the hots for Carmine. Across the way, Gloria grills Jeffrey about whether he had sex with Anita. As they bicker, Gloria spots Chloe and Kevin. They realize they're all going to Reno. Glo's excited. Kevin and Chloe aren't. Chloe and Gloria chat about Carmine. Gloria says she'll call Angelo if he shows up. Chloe asks about Jeff's situation. Gloria muses that the whole thing is so out there - even for her and Jeffrey. Nearby, Jeff moans to Kevin about Chelsea.
Lauren and Michael enter Gloworm and confront Anita. She refuses to talk to them. Michael gets a call and tells Lauren the DNA lab is analyzing the hair samples he and Victoria provided - they should know if Jeff is Chelsea's father by day's end.
At Crimson Lights, Daniel and Eden discuss Angelina's ex, Carmine. Daniel thinks he's probably gone back to Jersey. Carmine appears and sits down. Daniel whispers to Eden that the guy's had his heart broken - cut him some slack. Eden says she's just worried about Kevin's happiness. Lauren and Michael enter. Michael takes Daniel to the patio, and Lauren and Eden approach Carmine. They tell him the truth about the situation, encouraging him to go after Angelina. On the patio, Michael tells Daniel his parental rights hearing is tomorrow. He wants to go over everything again, but Daniel wishes he'd get off his back. Michael grabs him and warns he can't screw this up. Daniel admits he's afraid. Michael reminds him he'll have lots of support and says unless he wants Lucy with Daisy, he's got no other options. Michael takes a call from Gloria, gets Lauren and leaves. Carmine flirts with Eden, and tells her he's looking for an apartment. Daisy appears on the patio and tells Daniel there may be a way for them to avoid the custody hearing. She says she wants a family for herself and for Lucy.
In Japan, Nick tells Sharon that he needs to go home. Sharon says they'd better get to the airport then. Once they get on a flight, they can't take off due to a mechanical problem.
Still at the airport, Chloe, Gloria, Kevin, and Jeffrey get into line to board their flight.
Michael and Lauren return to Gloworm and fire Anita for Gloria. Anita says she's not going to need this job anyway. She exits as Michael get the lab report. He tells Lauren that Jeffrey is Chelsea's father.

Daniel tells Eden, "This whole thing with me, Lucy, and Daisy, it's never going to be over."
Holding up his phone, Victor says to Jill, "Would you mind explaining to me why you took this ridiculous photo of Genevieve and me?"
