Daisy goes to the penthouse, Phyllis demands the truth, and Nikki confronts Victor.
Victor arrives home to the ranch to find Nikki still angry. She asks if he sent Chelsea to Myanmar to seduce Billy. He says no, but admits he met Chelsea there and brought her and Anita to Genoa City when Billy wouldn't stay away from Victoria. Nikki says he lied to her. He says he doesn't apologize for a damn thing! Nikki complains that she can't trust him. He says he's trying to protect their daughter. Later, Nikki prepares to leave the ranch. Victor can't believe it. Nikki says he'll never change, and leaves.
At Gloworm, Billy fills Vikki in on Chelsea staying and Anita leaving. Billy says Chelsea was glad to get rid of her mother. Suddenly, Anita appears to take their order. She says she's staying in town. Billy asks her to excuse them. Billy tells Vikki this isn't good, but at least Chelsea's willing to sign papers. Vikki thinks they should rush the custody issue before anyone can change Chelsea's mind.
In her car, Sharon hears a dire weather warning on the radio. In the farmhouse, Adam learns that the bridge has been washed out. He hears a noise, smells smoke, and hears horses - the barn's on fire. Adam gets the barn door open and calls for help, but no one can get to him. He tries to hook up a hose and prays to his mom for help. He gets it working. Later, Sharon returns and Adam tells her about the fire. She shrieks, "You went into a burning barn?" He says he had to help the horses. She says he's amazing.
At the courthouse, Michael leaves another message for Phyllis, but reaches Daniel with the Daisy news. Nearby, Avery tries to talk Daisy out of showing up at Phyllis's door to see Lucy. Lauren informs Daisy they'll fight her so she never gets her hands on that little girl. Daisy exits. Lauren tells Avery everything Daisy does is on her head. Avery says Daisy loves Lucy. Lauren hisses at Avery that she will hate herself for what she's done today. Michael taunts Avery, "All your childhood wounds healed now?" Avery asks where Phyllis is anyway. Michael says she's with their father. Lauren takes off. Michael gets a call from Victoria, and meets her and Billy to give them pre-natal custody papers.
At the hospice facility, Phyllis tells her father she heard he was dying. He mutters, "Came to see for yourself?" She walks out, but returns. He says he has nothing to say to her, and accuses her of ruining him. Phyllis says she didn't force him to steal from those people. Phyllis didn't want to be shunned by her family, but he put her in that position. He scoffs that she's playing the victim. She says she stopped being that when she walked out his door. Phyllis tells him he ruined his life, not her. George asks what she wants from him. She wants to know why he made her family hate her. As Phyllis is telling him he took away her life, Avery listens outside the door. Phyllis wants him to admit he took that money. George says he did it. Avery cries.
Daniel arrives at the penthouse calling out for the nanny. Daisy comes downstairs with Lucy. Daniel takes Lucy. The nanny explains that Daisy said she was family. The nanny goes. Daisy tells Daniel everything she did was because of Sarah. Daniel's not buying it and asks what she's really after. Daisy says she wants someone to love her, and that's Lucy. They bicker over whether Daisy could have a bond with the child. Daniel tells her to get out before he calls social services. Daisy warns she'll be back.
Billy and Vikki arrive home and Vikki tells Chelsea she's impressed with her decision. Billy tells Chelsea he'll see to it that she never has to be under Anita's thumb again. He adds that he wants to be able to tell his son that his mom is doing great and he can be proud of her. Chelsea agrees to sign their papers now - if they promise she can be part of the boy's life. Vikki says they're fine with that. Chelsea signs.
Michael arrives at Gloworm with Fenmore and leaves Lauren a message wondering where she is at.
Lauren is at a shooting range. She gets a bullseye on a photo of Daisy.

Phyllis wants George to tell Avery he was rightly accused and convicted of stealing money from those people.
