Christine, Ashley and Jack read the will, Sharon hangs up on Nick, and Michael and Lauren read his grandmother's diary.
Eric Forrester sends flowers to the Abbott mansion. Gloria is accepting flowers against Jack's will. Kevin and Gloria discuss how Gloria feels that she isn't getting respect.
Gloria tells Kevin she won't let Jack and Ashley walk over her like they have with the final arrangements. She goes off to write her eulogy.
Later, a prison guard brings John's belongings to the mansion, and when Kevin and Gloria open the box of belongings, she is comforted. Gloria struggles with reality, as she tries to make sense of it all. She breaks down sobbing on Kevin's shoulder.
Christine meets with Ashley and Jack. The three take a look at John's will. It's straightforward, just like the copy that Jack has. Kay and Jill are also in the will. Christine asks that they get the family together while they're still in town, to have the reading. Ashley is appalled when she reads that Gloria gets half and the other half is to be divided amongst the kids! The house is left to Jack and Ashley, but all else is split up. Christine tells them that unless they can prove that Gloria deceived John into changing the will in her favor.
At home, Lauren and Michael discuss the argument at the mansion yesterday. He doesn't blame Gloria for being upset, because she feels left out of the planning of the memorial.
Lauren gives Michael a gift ..." his grandmother's diary, mostly restored!
Lauren tries to convince Michael to read the restored notes of the diary, but he is a little apprehensive. She reminds him of the reasons why he went to New Orleans in the first place. She convinces him to read the diary, and he begins to read.
They find out that his grandmother had diabetes.
Neil and Carmen are interrupted in the coffee room at work ..." by Dru! Carmen leaves as Dru explains what's happening with Sharon. Neil and Dru argue about her going on her promo tour. She asks him why he wants to know, so he can be with Carmen?! As soon as the words are out of his mouth, he tells her he is fed up with everything, and storms out of the room.
At the ranch, Sharon flashes back to Noah's lie about he MP3 player. She is getting set to mail it back, when Nikki arrives. Nikki tells her that Casey called and told her that Noah had a wonderful trip. Nikki also tells Sharon that it's normal, what she's going through ..." feeling scared, and confused.
Nikki explains what's going on with her and Victor, and Sharon lets Nikki know that she's okay to be alone now. Nikki isn't buying it, telling Sharon that she understands what she's going through. (After being held last year.) Noah comes downstairs after having a nightmare, and goes to his grandmother, not Sharon, for comfort.
Nikki stays to play a game with Noah, and then puts him to bed.
At home, Phyllis and Nick discuss Noah. Phyllis feels that Noah's call yesterday was a ploy to get him back to the house. Nick wonders if it's too much for Sharon to be at home alone with Noah. They plan to ask Noah to stay for the weekend, to take some stress off Sharon. The couple watches a chick flick together.
As Phyllis goes to change, Nick calls Sharon. He relays the conversation he had with Noah. She brushes Nick off, telling him that she dealt with the issue, and angrily tells Nick that he's only there when it suits him, and with that she hangs up on him!
Later, Phyllis and Nick talk about his phone call with Sharon, admitting he doesn't think she's handling things well. He voices concern over Noah, and then the two get intimate.
Neil is at the bar, (Eves) having a drink when Dru calls from work. He doesn't answer her call, letting it go to his answering service, but when Carmen calls, he takes her call, inviting her to meet him to look over some proposals. Dru spies Carmen, and overhears the conversation, following the woman!
Carmen meets Neil at the bar, and tells her to stop feeling guilty, because they have the reports to show that their meeting is legitimate. She starts to talk business, and he interrupts her, asking her where she'd be if she weren't in PR. She tells him she'd be a teacher; he tells her he'd want to open a dinner club!
Dru watches the whole interaction from the door.
Dru walks into the bar and spots the two ordering wine. The pair go to Neil's house instead over to the house to have drinks.
Dru follows the two home, calling Devon asking him to hurry home as there is an emergency.
Sharon is out having a drink at Eves, and is upset when a man sits beside her. She flashes back to her time held and storms out, bumping into Ashley and Jack. (Not literally) She gives them her condolences, and leaves.
After Sharon leaves, Ashley demands to know what's with Jack's sudden change of heart about Gloria. Jack tells her that she shouldn't assume anything!!
Devon busts in on Carmen and Neil talking, asking what the emergency is. He asks if Neil turned off the stove, but Neil has no clue as to what he's talking about. The stove is turned off and Devon and Neil are both confused! It suddenly dawns on Neil that Dru must have seen something...¦
Still babysitting at the ranch, while Sharon is out at the bar, Nikki hears from Victor. She is happy that he's coming home!
At home, Ashley and Gloria fight over the suit that John should be buried in. Kevin sticks up for Gloria as does Jack! He tells Gloria that she is one of them and hugs her!! (Behind their backs he has a distasteful look.
