Billy's words get to Victor, Adam makes a decision, and Tucker connects with Katherine.
At Vikki's house, she and Nick discuss the press surrounding the lawsuit. Nick tells her about Adam punching him. They agree to meet later and Nick leaves. Billy appears and shows Vikki his article on Victor - it compares him unfavorably to John Abbott as a parent. Vikki tells Billy she's proud of him, and his article is true. Billy says as much as he hates him, there's nothing he'd like more than to give her back her daddy.
At the ranch, Victor reads Billy's article out loud to Katherine. She says she can't help but be touched by Billy honoring his father that way. Victor asks if she agrees with it. Kay muses that it's accurate. Victor feels Billy tried to shame him, and tells her he never wanted all this to happen.
At the Club, Neil tells Tucker he's taking a personal day due to the Newman arbitration. He tells Tucker his testimony might anger Victor and even Katherine. Tucker is supportive. Neil goes, and Katherine appears. They discuss Billy's article. Tucker asks her to join him for a meal. She says she'd like that and sits. Tucker wants to talk about his wedding. She says she would be happy to host it at her house.
Sharon asks a hungover Adam if he thought about what she said the night before. He says he did, but disagrees that Victor will help her out no matter what happens with the arbitration - he's left her twisting in the wind. Sharon asks him to pull it together, saying she has to go meet Nick and Faith.
Abby and Ashley discuss Adam on the coffee house patio. Michael appears and Abby excuses herself. Ashley snarks about him hanging his case on Adam. As she reminds him what Adam's capable of, Adam comes in and Abby tells him she hates that he is her brother. Ash pulls her away. Michael sidles up to Adam and advises him not to back out.
On a park bench, Victor continues reading Billy's article, which refers to John Abbott resorting to physical violence only toward Victor, when he blamed him for Ashley losing her baby. Victor suddenly hears Sharon and Nick on the other side of the bushes. When Nick steps away, Victor listens to Sharon tell Faith that her daddy and Adam can't agree on how to help her. Nick returns to take Faith. Sharon cries to him about being sent away to prison. Nick leaves, and Victor reveals himself to Sharon, saying, "It will be alright." He calls Michael to meet him at the ranch.
Nick goes home to find Adam waiting. He says he comes in peace and has nowhere else to turn. Adam says he's willing to recant his testimony in return for Sharon getting her full rights back with Faith. Nick says Sharon can be with Faith full-time - all Adam has to do is leave Genoa City and never come back.
Ashley and Abby go to Billy's house. Vikki and Abby leave for the arbitration, and Ashley grabs Billy for a hug. She says he wrote a lovely tribute to their father. He asks about her and Tucker. She says she sometimes get glimpses of a side of him that reminds her of Victor. Ashley gets a call from Neil - he wants to see her about the arbitration. Billy is leaning over Lucy later, when John appears to him. He tells him he's a terrific father.
Michael arrives at the ranch. Victor tells him he's made a decision to go to the D.A. and tell him he was in Hawaii the night Skye died. He says he heard Skye and Sharon confronting each other, and he knows Sharon held Skye's hand after she slipped and pleaded for her to hold on. It was no murder. Michael wants him to wait until after the arbitration, but Victor refuses. Michael argues that he will open himself up to criminal charges. Victor says his granddaughter could lose her mother. Michael realizes Billy's article got to him. Victor says, "No one tells me I don't love my family."
Sharon returns home looking for Adam, and finds the house empty. Adam returns outside, messes up his clothing and hair, and makes himself smell like booze. He goes inside and pretends to be drunk, slurring that he can't do this anymore. He says he's not sure he loves her, and he's not sure he ever did. Sharon tears up and asks him what about New Orleans, and all the time they've spent together. He says it was a show. She leaves. He whispers, "I'm so sorry, Sharon."
Abby and Vikki arrive at the courthouse. Vikki has an idea that they might be able to get Adam to doubt the wisdom of trusting Victor. Michael walks in, leaving Heather an urgent message to call him.
Ashley meets Neil at the coffee house. He tells her he may be able to prove Adam's testimony is false. Ashley urges him to speak out.
Victor goes to the D.A.'s office and says he has information about the night Skye Lockhart died.
Sharon appears outside Nick's house and he asks what's wrong. She says, "It's Adam." Nick holds her.
Adam arrives at the airport and says he needs a one-way ticket out of there.
