At Crimson Lights, Nina comes in as Ronan is on the phone checking on his transplant status. Nina tells him they should do dinner again soon. Heather enters the patio and gives Nick an envelope sent over from Newman. Nick looks at the photos of Victor and Skye talking while trapped in the elevator, and muses, "Hardly said a word to each other, huh Dad?" Heather, meanwhile, has joined Ronan and Nina, who leaves soon after. When she questions him, Ronan admits to Heather that he's number 17,001 on the transplant list. She urges him to turn to family. He says his biological father died from this disease and Nina doesn't know that. Heather insists he go to Nina, but he tells her to back off.

He theorizes about why a body was never found, adding that the very night the murder supposedly happened, Victor took off for parts unknown. He guesses that Victor set up Skye in Hawaii. Victor says Jack should be a comic book writer. Jack muses that Victor must have been relieved about Skye's demise. Victor insists he doesn't give a damn - he hardly knew Skye. Jack marvels at Victor's lies, and warns that Skye must have been seen in Hawaii. Victor tells him to leave his office. Jack walks out and sees Nick, who doesn't let on he has the elevator stills. Nick goes in and confronts Victor about them. Victor angrily claims Skye was claustrophobic in the elevator, that's all. He's furious that Nick didn't ignore the rumors, and accuses him of attacking him like his sisters. Nick just wants to know the truth. Victor hollers that Skye is as dead as a doornail and Nick should leave it alone! Nick leaves. Victor calls his contact in Hawaii and says people will be asking questions. He promises to send a check soon.

At the hospital, Abby reads celebrity gossip to Daniel, who is still unconscious. She hopes to annoy him into coming back. Phyllis enters and tells Abby the Canadian authorities can't find Daisy. She wonders if she's already had the baby. She talks about torturing Daisy. Abby chuckles, but Phyllis says she's serious, and then notes how much Abby cares for Daniel. Abby says she won't settle for anything less than a happy ending. She and Phyllis have a moment, and then Abby leaves. Phyllis whispers to Daniel that she was just nice to his girlfriend. Jack arrives and pulls Phyllis aside. He explains that he's going to Hawaii - he thinks Victor set Adam up for murder. Phyllis says he's letting the rivalry control him. He agrees; he'll stay in Genoa City. Jack leaves, and Phyllis is stunned when Daniel wakes up. He murmurs, "Daisy. Daisy."

In a dingy room, the man who found Daisy's baby in the church talks to his wife, who is holding the child. He says the woman he called is on her way over. The wife, Agnes, doesn't think it's right, but the man is keen on the money. A red-haired woman arrives and pays them $5,000 for the baby. Agnes tells her they've been calling her 'Rose'. The woman notes that her Aunt Rose gave her the name Primrose - Primrose DeVille.

She says she's angry at herself for not being able to conceive. Billy reassures her she's not to blame. Victoria rushes out of the room, overcome with regret. Billy pulls out his phone.

Billy meets Rafe at Jimmy's Bar where they discussion adoption. Billy wants to find a way to expedite the process. Rafe grudgingly says he may know someone who can help. He asks what the rush to adopt is, and Billy explains about the test results. Rafe agrees to make an introduction between Billy and the people he's going to have to talk to, but it will cost a fortune.

Back at Heather's apartment, she and Ronan argue about whether he should tell Nina he needs a transplant. He says too many things can go wrong, and he will not put such a burden on his mother! He leaves. Later, Nina arrives at Heather's behest. Heather tells Nina that Ronan confided something to her that he asked her not to share, but she thinks Nina needs to know. Heather shakily tells Nina that Ronan is sick and if he doesn't get a liver transplant he could die.

Billy meets with a man on the patio at Crimson Lights, who says he knows a broker who can deliver the item. Billy agrees to wire money into his account - and wants the connection tonight.

Nick says he's done what he can, but he would like Jack to report back to him with anything he finds. Jack thanks him and books a flight to Hawaii.
