soooo glad they've changed actresses for this role. Miss Erin needs some coaching and experience before tackling a role with this much depth of emotion. I hope Ms. Rylan can spice up this character a bit.

Good recast, I loved watching her in The Guiding Light. She also has great experience on being a brat, she did a good job being one as Lizzy.

Curious where Abby's storyline will go - at this point she is a rebellious very young teenager. Now she will be in her early 20's? Quite a jump, even for soaps.

While I am excited to hear that Abby is being recast, I am quite thrown for a loop. They already aged Abby considerably when they brought Hayley Erin and now they are going to age her again??? Are they also going to age Noah too??? Possibly bring in a new actor since the current is on hiatus until the summer. Noah is supposed to be older. Wow, how soap writers love to change history.

So if Abby is being aged I wonder how old will Noah be when he returns because he is older than Abby????

However the casting goes, Welcome Aboard Marcy Rylan...

So happy to hear Marcy will be Abby..I was GL fan & she was fantastic as Lizzy..hope Hayley Erin gets more exp. before she tries to act again...good luck to her..she's terrible!! I agree also with 2boyMommy..Daisy is horrible..plus!!!!Glad ATWT doesn't drag their storylines as much as Y & R. at the point where the producers should wake up & take notice.

from baby to pre-teen, then from pre-teen to teen. those are the only times characters should be rapidly aged. Hayley's Abby was old enough for love interests just as Heather Thom back in the very early '90s. Why does she need to be twenty-something now?

Amazing..... If Summer and Reed go to camp this summer, they'll come back in their late teens like Noah did. My how fast they grow up. I liked the younger Abby (when she was about 5) much better---she was precious!!!!!!

I loved Marcy on GL so I am sure I will love her on Y&R. I might actually like Abby for a change.

Kevin Schmidt who plays Noah is really 22 years old, so it shouldn't be much of a stretch for him to play older.
