The Young and the Restless actor, Sean Kanan, whose character, Deacon Sharpe, is currently languishing in jail, has made a statement in regard to his status with the show. His remarks were as follows:

"I was always on reoccurring status. I was not fired and am sick of hearing that I was. I spoke the words that were given to me. The last script I received sent me off to jail. I am thankful for my time on the show and am actively working outside of Daytime. I have not been contacted by Y&R regarding my return. It seems that I will also not be returning to B&B any time in the near future. Now you know as much as I do. I hope that we can put an end to the rumor factory. I profoundly appreciate your support."

I love the Deacon character and I really miss Sean.He is a very handsome and super sexy guy.I hope he comes back to the show soon.Love ya Sean.

Sean, if you read posts...you were fabulous. Great acting and great chemistry with the ladies...especially the short-lived scenes with Victoria. I hope the Y&R writers find a way OUT OF JAIL for your return and find someone to pair you with, perhaps like Sharon when Adam is killed or leaves the show? Anyway, hope it is NOT with dummy blondie as she was not enough "woman" (mostly maturity level) for the Deacon character. Others have paid for their crimes, perhaps Deacon will too and return to G.C.

I loved you on both of the soaps. You are a great actor. I loved you and Victoria together. I wish they would get rid of Adam and bring you back. Maybe we will see you again soon. I hope.

I PERSONALLY DO NOT LIKE HIS ROLE OF DEACON..I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM BECOME A TRUSTWORTHY CHARACTER, FALL IN LOVE AND BE A VILLIAN ANY LONGER. HE IS VERY TALENTED. HE WILL COME BACK HOPEFULLY BY SUMMER!
