Although Kevin Sorbo had to bow out, some new names have been added to the list of celebrities attending: Thom Bierdz (Phillip Chancellor III), Yani Gellman (Rafe Torres), Liz Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell), Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears, The Bold and the Beautiful), Gordon Clapp (Hill Street Blues), Stephanie Pratt (The Hills), and Joan Van Ark (Knot's Landing).

Update January 16:

Soaps.com has received an updated list of celebrities from The Young and the Restless that will be attending Kate Linder's event in support of ALS. They are: Wilson Bethel (Ryder Callahan), Hayley Erin (Abby Carlton), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Stacy Haiduk (Emily Peterson/Patty Williams), Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe), Vanessa Marano (Eden), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers Newman), and Yvonne Zima (Daisy).

Other celebrities attending include: Alison Arngrim ("Little House on the Prairie"), Channing Chase ("Mad Men"), Romi Dames ("Hannah Montana"), Bruce Davison ("Longtime Companion"), actress Ilene Graff, actress Q'orianka Kilcher, RJ Mitte ("Breaking Bad"), actress Lorielle New, Kevin Sorbo ("Hercules"), comedian Rip Taylor and actress Dee Wallace.

Soaps.com has learned that Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) from The Young and the Restless will be hosting her very first Annual Celebrity Charity Gala in Hollywood on February 11, 2010. The event will run from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM a the Montage in Beverly Hills.

The event will raise funds to help find a cure for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), for which Kate is a celebrity spokesperson. Tickets cost $100 or $150 for VIP tickets, and can be obtained by calling 1-570-677-4975 or through Emerging Magazine.

In November, Kate was honored by the ALS Association's St. Louis Regional Chapter at their 25th Anniversary Gala, for her work on the event to raise funds to find a cure for the disease. Over $90,000 was raised at the event, which Kate and her husband, Ron, attended.
