Actress Victoria Mallory, who played Genoa City's Leslie Brooks from 1977 - 1984, passed away on August 30 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband, Mark Lambert, and her daughter, Ramona Mallory.
Mallory was an accomplished actress on both stage and screen. She played Dr. Denise Foxworthy on "Santa Barbara," and also had roles on television's "Promised Land," "Touched by an Angel," and "Everwood." She made her Broadway debut as Maria in "West Side Story," and went on to appear in "Carnival," "Follies," "A Little Night Music," "Phantom of the Opera," "Showboat," "Kiss Me Kate," and "Guys and Dolls," to name just a handful of her stage credits. She continued to perform while teaching at The Voice Studio in New York City.
