I do not like that Billy Miller is gone now nor am I happy about how the whole Michael Muhney thing went down but I will attempt to give David Tom a shot as Billy ( he was the best actor to play Billy besides Billy Miller in my opinion). I'll just come out and say I really doubt every person who says they are going to stop watching actually will anyways.
I will agree too that the acting involved in the whole hit and run story was unbelievable. It was actually painful to watch Adam sobbing while telling Billy his version of events. I am still convinced that Adam(despite being guilty of many things) is innocent of hitting Delia and it will ultimately prove to be Kelly. Having Adam appear to be the real culprit makes sense now because it was a way to get rid of Michael Muhney but there is no way Y&R is going to want to get rid of Adam forever.

I have sat back and read so much about the latest goings ons at Y&R and frankly I have had my fill, I am so disappointed that a show I have watched faithfully for decades is becoming a let down. Everyone blaming Adam for everything is getting old, I know he is leaving and so is Billy but there goes two of the biggest parts of Y&R. As for Kelly, there is something about her that makes me believe that ibcynthy is probably right. Writers need to wake up and see the fans leaving the show. Its not too late to save it.

I enjoyed the last couple of weeks of Y&R more than I have for a long time. I like that they have shown the outside of the houses. The Tyler/Abby scenes could have been put to better use by showing Jill's s/l.Avery & Dylan are better together than Nick & Avery. The Adam/Billy scenes were fantastic. Carmine alive? Gimme a break! I guess it was the only way the writers could get Fen off the hook. All in all, a couple of good weeks.

I too will not be watching Y&R after watching for over 30 years. Not enough talent left especially after this week and the loss of Phyllis. What are the producers, owners, etc. thinking firing "Adam"? Goodbye Y&R; and after all these years!

I agree .Without Adam and Billy there is no since to watch the show.M.M is the only one that can play Adam.Billy and Adam are so much alike ,they make the show.

People, people, it's just a drama and billy miller and michael muhney knocked it so far out of the park, now
    that's acting!
Ebb and flow, still lots of other great actors on that show and I do have sympathy for the scribes. I've been watching for decades now and this is a high quality drama just remember that you're doing a hell of a lot of willing suspension of disbelief.
David tom was excellent as billy his first go round...tough job ahead, some big shoes to fill now...still, michael muhney was epically great, no one could nail that role so perfect, good luck to him but if it is true about his sexual advances against a young costar, that's soapworthy tragic, ironic, and mirrors his character way too close.
I'll still be watching...funny how real life does sometimes parallel some soap situations, just not so far out of the realm of common sense. Conflict, the essence of drama.
Y&R, is still heads and shoulders above most prime time tv garbage, the actors are phenominal, every one of them, even the kyle character is finally starting to get some traction...carry on...

...and, I also do not think that Adam struck Delia. I think it was Kelly.
