In St. John's lengthy post he states, "It is absurd and hurtful the way the rumor mill has spun out of control, with uninformed people forming opinions, completely in the dark. Unfortunately, you, the fans, are innocent bystanders. However, many are feeding off of the hysteria of those that are out for blood. Sadly, it is a mob mentality."

Former "Y&R" executive producer and headwriter, Maria Arena Bell, has made a statement with regard to the TMZ report on the firing of Michael Muhney. OMG!!! I am going to miss Michael Muhney (Adam)! He was by far the best and sexiest actor on Y&R! I really enjoyed his role with Sharon, they really put chemistry and excitement into action and made the show. I have been enjoying his father figure role as well. I know something can be worked out to keep him on the show! Summer, I don't condone sexual harassment, but I do believe in innocence until "proven" guilty and not by hear say either! With Adam being allowed to remain on the show until Jan 30, doesn't say a whole lot about the respect Y&R have for Summer given the allegations. Something of that nature, one would think that the perpetrator would have been let go immediately. Personally, Summer's role sucks and she is not needed on the show. Looks like they having a hard time finding a role for her. They need to keep Adam, Billy and bring back Phyllis & Dru because the ratings are about to go down, starting with me at the end of Jan once Billy & Adam depart. I hate this is happening, I really enjoyed Y&R for over 30 years, especially with nothing else exciting to watch, except Law and Order! Well Amazon, get ready, I'm about to buy me a collection of Law and Order to replace Y&R! I'm gonna miss me some Adam!

We'll now I see a post all about how wonderful and innocent HHK is and in the post it's states her family being on the set so I am sure this is a inside post to know all these facts but it only confirms how stupid the groping is or either the family wasn't very concerned. This is so much a setup between certain cast members and HHK and it makes me so disgusted that they think we the fans who have kept them a job for so many years, are so dumb. About all her charity work maybe they need to read about all MM's many, many great projects and works they are overwhelming.

I am still very concerned about the gossip regarding Michael Muhney groping Hunter King. At this point, nothing has been proven and it just seems like a lot of gossip. Also, it doesn't look like she pressed any charges against Michael. Very curious. The one bright spot on the show was Adam. The rest just seems like filler. Why oh why must we endure the Lauren Fenmore Victim plot one more time. Even the actress must be tired of making that same face all the time. I have always been a loyal fan, but the show is trying my patience with the boring dialog and predictable story lines. It is painful to watch good actors try so hard with such bad writing. I wonder what would happen if the actors were allowed to toss the scripts and go it on their own? Just a thought. But seriously, unless someone credible comes out with proof about MM, I am not buying it. I wish Michael Muhney and his family all of the best and know he will land on his feet.

Quoting TMZ, well good for yellow journalism. More mainstream would be credible.

I have been watching Y&R since I was a child. I remember the days of Lance and Lucas Prentiss, the Brooks' sisters and the Fosters. I remember when Victor kept his wife, Julia, in a cage and when Nikki was dating Paul. I am torn on this issue. Michael Muhney is, without a doubt, an incredible actor. He has brought life to the role of Adam Newman. On the other hand, I respect the executive decision to fire him based on his behavior. I am not referring to the allegations of Hunter as I believe someone is innocent until proven guilty. I am referring to his unprofessionalism at scheming to remove Eric Braeden (Victor) from the show. (This was not just an allegation but an admission from Muhney himself). A bad apple spoils the bunch. There is nothing worse than controversy and animosity behind the scenes. Whether you love him or hate him, Eric Braeden has given his life to Y&R. As in any profession, a newcomer shouldn't expect to be given the same respect as a veteran employee. Respect has to be earned and obviously Eric Braeden has had many years to gain it. Am I sorry to see Michael Muhney leave the show? Absolutely. Do I understand why he was fired? Absolutely. Do I believe Michael Muhney needs to accept responsibility for his firing? Absolutely. Do I feel angry at Muhney's firing? Absolutely. (My anger is towards Michael rather than the show executives, however). Will I continue to watch the show, despite the loss of Jeanne Cooper, Billy Miller, Michelle Stafford and Michael Muhney? Probably. There are many excellent actors out there. Find us another, Y&R.

Well collyjo I hope you and EB have a show to watch, but you need to know that EB doesn't get along with several cast members and has gotten some wrote out which is a form of fired, MM was not afraid of him and stood up to him which I admire in a person and yes EB got him fired also but he lost a " lot" of fans. I believe JC was the only one that could keep him in line because she knew how important fans are as does MM and since her death Y&R has sunk.
