Throwback Thursday Y&R Poll: A Look Into Billy's Future.

    Thursday, December 26 2013

    (Nikki Nelson/
What life would have been like.

In this week's "The Young And The Restless" Throwback Thursday takes readers just a few years back to 2009 when Billy Abbott was forced to take a good hard look into his future…

Billy has currently faced a tragic loss, but Jack tried to show him that there's still hope for the future. Not too long ago, John's ghost appeared after the Christmas holidays and took Billy on a journey through Genoa City to show him what would happen in the new year if he continued to go down the wrong path. Billy had burned many bridges and turned to alcohol to ease his conscience. John appeared and announced that not only was he going to be Billy's New Year's Eve date, he was going to give him a glimpse into his future.

Their first stop was at Restless Style, where Billy had been hell-bent on publishing garbage that only hurt people in the end. Next, John showed his son how his negative actions toward Mac helping Cane and Lily have a baby led to her marrying Kevin, who also now ran his magazine. The journey went on with Billy witnessing Delia looking up to Chance as a father, his siblings turning their backs on him, his daughter all gown-up and ready to get married, and Chloe admitting she lied about Delia's paternity because she couldn't count on him.

Billy begged John to stop showing him the upsetting visions, but John had one more to reveal. Do you remember what it was? Vote in our "Y&R" poll below.
