Throwback Thursday Y&R Poll: Drucilla's Deception.

    Thursday, December 19 2013

    St. John and Rowell (CBS)
    Different dreams...

In this week's "The Young And The Restless" Throwback Thursday takes readers back to the mid-1990s when Neil Winters was surprised to learn his wife Drucilla had deceived him…

Neil is about to present Leslie with a big surprise. Years ago, Neil was the one who received a surprise and an unpleasant one at that. Neil and Dru welcomed Lily into the world in 1995. Though Dru loved being a mom she wanted nothing more than to go back to modeling and signed a contract to do just that. Neil had been furious and belittled Dru, claiming a wife belonged at home unless her job was meaningful - like her sister Olivia's, who irked Dru by agreeing with Neil.

Dru stood her ground and was welcomed back into Neil's good graces after telling a reporter that she was able to model only because of the love of her supportive husband. However, it was only a matter of time before Dru realized that Neil hadn't changed his mind and wanted to keep her home by adding more children to their family. Neil soon uncovered that Dru had been secretly taking birth control pills, all the while pretending to want the same thing. Time went by and Dru decided it was best for her to leave Genoa City and take their daughter Lily to Paris, where she lived out her dream as a top fashion model.

Do you remember if Neil and Dru reconciled before she ultimately took Lily and moved to Paris? Vote in our "Y&R" poll below.

Also, vote in our Throwback Thursday B&B Poll: Morgan And Ridge's Babies and read's Primetime Dish for details surrounding Kelly Clarkson's Nashville appearance.

I'm with you Navarro1010, coming off the DVR today, these cast members made the characters fun, interesting and come to life, they can't really be replaced. How about a new Victor Newman or Nicki? See what I mean....wouldn't work! Keep Smiling!
