Ex-Young and the Restless Star Rachael Kimsey's New Play!

    Tuesday, February 24 2009

Rachael Kimsey (CBS) readers have been chatting lately about how much they miss the character Mackenzie Browning on the Y&R. With the hot storyline surrounding her grandmother, Katherine, and the return of Billy Abbott, it would be a great time for the return of Mackenzie, but her last portrayer, actress Rachael Kimsey, is currently busy with other projects!

Rachael has been cast in the role of 'Alice' in the play “Who Lives” at the Pico Playhouse at 10508 W. Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles, California! The play will run from March 12 - 29, and is written by Christopher Meeks, directed by Joe Ochman, and produced by Brett Fisher.

Alice, the character that Rachel plays, is a college student who also has an anonymous seat on a committee where lives are evaluated, and it is deemed which should live or die, all in the hopes of saving others. The play is set to run, appropriately, during National Kidney Month. would like to wish Rachael much luck on her latest project. If you live in the Los Angeles area - go check it out! As always, feel free to comment below!

She is one very beautiful woman. I would love to see her back on Y&R. I wish her nothing but the very best.

i thought she was WONDERFUL as Mac. She was incredibly likable, natural, and believable. When she was pregnant (or a scare - don't remember) and she ran to barf and was on the couch with Kevin she had it all - the shame, fear, nausea. Even when she just came back for a couple days and she could be goofy and played adult Mac well. Ashely B is lovable but Rachel aged the character appropriately and I was shocked when she was let go.

MARIA BELL - bring Rachel back! Especially if Jill isn't Katherines daughter. Billy and Rachel would be great together. Rachel could give Elizabeth (Chloe) a good run for her money.

Enjoy your show Rachel - wished I was still in LA!
