In this week's "The Young And The Restless" Throwback Thursday Soaps.com takes readers back to the early 2000s when Lauren Fenmore stepped up to help Genoa City newcomer Kevin Fisher…
Lauren currently wants nothing more than for Paul and Christine to help Michael and Fen. Years ago, Kevin turned to Lauren for help when he was the one locked up behind bars. Not long after arriving in town Kevin went to work as a bookkeeper for Bobby Marsino at Marsino's Gentleman's Club. He took a liking to Brittney Hodges, who also worked there, but she rebuffed his advances. Bobby found out that Kevin had been connected to crimes such as arson, statutory rape and attempted murder, and promptly fired him.
One night, Brittany was electrocuted by making contact with a stripper pole during one of her singing acts. Bobby suspected Kevin was to blame and was out for revenge due to having been fired and Brittany not showing him any interest. Lauren, who knew Kevin had feelings for her, tried to get Kevin to confess to some of the crimes he'd been suspected of. Her plan backfired and Kevin held her at gunpoint. Michael ended up talking Kevin down, and he was arrested for Brittany's electrocution. Kevin begged Lauren to believe him and insisted he'd been setup. Lauren believed Kevin and couldn't bear to watch him in his panicked state behind bars, reliving being locked in a closet during his childhood, and bailed him out.
Do you remember where Lauren agreed to go with Kevin in hopes of getting him to confess? Vote in our "Y&R" poll below.
